Anthony14, I was thinking along the same lines for a badge (I even downloaded that image) but I think we have to shrink it to the size that was outlined in the sticky post for GB patches and signature pics. (65x65 pixels and 72dpi)

I also thought of doing three badges one with an aircraft, one with a ship and another with a armoured vehicle, kind of the way the aerobatics GB badge has different aerobatics groups. That way for what ever subject you do, you can pick the appropriate badge.

If this turns into a real GB, I was playing around and came up with this badge. It's not the best but the shield rep's all units ex: land, air, sea. Count me in as a maybe, not sure what I'll do.

Too bad I already started my P2V-7 (Late blue RCAF scheme) with Eduard everything!

Even have wheels for it!

We'll see what happens tho, have a 1/48 Twin huey that I'm willing to wait with! Big Smile [:D]

bstrump, I really like the tiger meet colours, that would be a good idea (I think the Hornet looks the best in those colours).

The more I think about it, the fall would be the best so tentatively, lets say Sept 1 to Dec 31? Any objections?

As for myself I have the Arfix 1:72 Blenheim kit (Bolingbroke for us Canadians) which I am torn between two schemes, one as part of RCAF 115 (BR) sqdn based on the west coast which was the only airplane involved in the sinking of a Japanese sub or one of the cool black and yellow striped trainers. Tough choice!

Jay, it does sound interesting. The Hurricane I'm building for the BOB GB was flown by a Canadian pilot. I'm a definite maybe, depending on start date & what else may be going on.

Well, the Canadians certainly had Shermans, those were the ones that liberated my country. I believe there is one of those about 30 km from my home.

Good question! I know for ww2 there were some shermans, some preists, I have a reference to some self propelled guns too. More recently I know of the Leopards piranahs and the bombardier jeeps.

I'm not an armour buff but if anyone else has a good idea and could post a partial list that would be great.

Anyone can join, provided they build something a Canadian flew, drove or navigated or was in the Canadian Armed Forces (From WW1 to present). All scales and all subjects.

All PE, AM, Resin, scratch, whatever you need to do to it to make it Canadian, is acceptable.

This may be too broad but I think it'll be fun, this forum needs more Canadian content eh! Smile [:)]
End date is past but if you have started it, you can take as long as you need to finish! 3 or 4 are still trying to finish - including me with my Bolingbroke!

For those of you desiring badges, you can use these as a template, what some have been doing is swapping out the image with one of what they are building.
