Also the Pz III turett Would be either German Gray, or Dark yello camo scheme. I think they used to salvage them off of ruind tanks

The Karaya tow cables came today. I am disappointed with the quality of the resin casting of the eyeletts. All will need some cleanup and one of them is actually a bit broken! That's bullsh*t!! I payed 9 bucks for this and I expect it to be in good friggin condition! Unbelievable. I will be able to salvage all of them though, and it will look immeasurably better than the kit supplied string.

OK, I had a go with my Mig Pigments on my 109 and boy are they great. I covered the whole plane with one color (Gulf war sand) for a sunfade and dusty look, and then I went over each panel individually with a different color pigment, which gave me nice but subtle tonal variation. I really like the effect a lot.

ok, here's some progress pics. the stuff I'm working on is kinda small I know, but its interim stuff while I get ready for a bigger project. these are pics of the monitor/virginia and the pz III tank turret bunker:

I have since begun painting the monitor/virginia, but Im wondering what to paint the turret on the bunker. a dark grey/green, or dark metal? I'm thinking of doing a dark green wavy camo on the roof of the bunker, so that may be incorporated into the camo on the turret. what do you guys think?

Well sure. I have come along way since starting her on tuesday but here we go.
1/35 Tasca Luchs (pz II ausf L). Beautiful kit with working suspension! Ooo I love it soooo much! here are the road wheels and torsion bars all finished.

since the pic was taken I have completed assembly of the turret and painted the black on the road wheels. I am now working on the body. This kit totally kicks ass!

construction of bunker is complete. now i gotta just paint it and set it in a base.

the viginia has all her details complete too, save for the wires holding her stack in place. ive added her boat holders(?), railings, but i think im gonna skip on gun covers, theres just no real way of telling which guns had them for sure at the time of the engagement

the gray cutoff sometimes happens when photobucket doesnt finish loading the pic. Try uploading it again. Only post the pics if you want to.

nick, any pics of your previous builds? Corsair is looking good.

Paintball is too messy! And personally I hate the way the guns look.
Tanky, too bad about the Suburban area. I live pretty much out in the country near the foot hills so there is lots of places to play.

Ok what you do is under the picture there are three lines. one has url. the second one is something and the third one has the url already in the forum code here. just copy and paste the third one. If you move the pics into a sub album then the url changes. so be sure to use the url of the pic in the sub album. Doe that make sense?

Reb and Tanky- Ill stick to paintball.Big Smile [:D]

havent heard of them.
There are 2 definition of hop up
#1. Putting the desired amount of backspin on the BB for distance. I am pretty sure all Tokyo Mauri's have this. I cant find it on my MP5 though, I think its a switch.

#2. Putting new internal stuff inside like piston to give the bb more velocity. You will have to buy this hop up seperatley. It isnt cheap either. I spen a pretty penny on mine.
All Tokyo Mauri AEG's shoot 280 FPS. I have mine Upgraded to shoot 400 FPS. Trust me, if you ever play at an Operation (check the net for local ones) you will need a hop up of at least 350.

here is the site I order from, good prices and very reliable.
www.airsoftatlanta.com

For a great gun out of the box, Classic army Mp5. Arround 300fps stock, and comes with tac light grip. The grip alone is 90 bucks. This whole gun is onle 20 -30 $ more than the TM.

Do any guns come with hop up already? My only airsoft gun right now is a spring action pistol. It is pretty good and reliable though. Decently accurate bu only up to 7-8 yards. It's made by a company called CYMA. Have u ever heard of it?

tanky, if the embargo is ever lifted, Tokyo Muari guns are supposed to be the best internally. I have had so much crap with my m4 though I am ready to sell it! The MP5 Has worked great though.
The AK 47 and M-14 are my next choices, they two kick ****** guns. The only thing with the AK is that it is quite heavy, and trust me, we your running around and up hills you'll be crying for the Mp5. If you ever want to upgrade either one so that is shoots harder and faster, you will DEFFINETLY want to get a full stock! That goes for all guns, If you are going to hop it up, make sure it has a full stock, otherwise you will be left carrying a larger battery on the folding stock. If you have any Q's on Airsoft just let me know.
