oh, btw, the 155 is an excellent brush, but wait until you try the hp-bcs from iwata. now that is the king of all siphon feeds and quite possibly the finest brush around.

Hawaii was great. beaches were AWESOME. the sand and the ocean weren't half bad either. Mischief [:-,] no work done obviously . yeah. i agree rammstein rocks... yeah beaches... sorry head still muddled from 11 hour plane flight... okay.... sergei good luck with the bmp... mmmm yeah. i gotta go catch up on other GB's now. expect a post that actually makes sense sometime tomorrow... i hope.

Sergie I would prime it.

Gringe, I Think the steam is perfect. Only suggestions would be to add some muzzleflash to the cannons that are firing (I can supply a pic if youd like). Another one, kinda late since you already finished, but the top of the moniters turret was wood, as was the top of the Virginia.

I'll have pics up in a few minutes.

dem is purty!
Your smoke looks a little like cotton, gringe, but I suppose theirs no way to avoid that.
Ok, possibly my last question in this thread (Sigh [sigh]Boohoo [BH]), but if i plan to paint something that was molded in black a color like steel, I should probably prime it some lighter color (like white), right?

I am really tired right now. so I will be doing the judging post later on. But first, I need everyone to post 2 pics of each of their completed builds. Then, if you have more pics, post the link to your photobucket or whatever.

Competition, FREAKIN AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Basically this was the first real one Ive ever been to, It even had vendors! lol.
I entered 2 builds in the juniors catagory, Got a 1st, 2nd, and best of there.
Then I entered 3 dioramas in the Adults. Got a 1st, and 3rd.
My t34 entered in the adults armor did nothing. There was some nice Brail scale there!
I'll get pics of my completed builds and winnings (from the raffle Cool [8D])

just monotones. i don'tthink i could do any camo's uz you have to thin the paint down soooooo much that it would probably run, and it would take like 5 coats. im gonna talk to my club's airbrush gurus about a good buy locally.

BTW- do we post pics here, or is there gonna be another for judges to go to??

maybe get some models for christmas? who knows? yup... who knows...
kind of bored right now, 1:43 am here, we're leaving for Maine at 3 or 3:30 am, so I'm kind of passing the time...
I love building models, it teaches you patience, and....... resposibility and.......... gives you a reason to get a job.... and.... gives you something productive to do in your spare time... yup
