Duke Maddog - I hope so to Smile [:)]

ygmodeler4 - it is an Academy kit.

gdarwin - for the sherman I am going to paint them on, I usally paint them off, but that is when I am doing German armour, 40+ wheels, the sherman has big ones and will be easy to access.

All - Thanks for the comments...

EDIT:

After some sanding I was able to get the hull's together YAAAAA!!, and they look very good, nice and tight, no pic's now, I might post some later...

EDIT#2: O.k. I have put the hull halfs together and now I have some pic's, enjoy!

Oh man, sorry to hear about that Dan. That always hurts to see all your hard work just trashed like that. Oh well, at least there are quite a few spares for you to use on the next one.

I hope you get another one soon. A Merkava would look good too.

AAAARGH... disaster, disaster had struck... I'm int he nightshift this week, so when I get home in the morning I go to sleep for a couple of hours. During those hours, our youngest must have gained access to the "factory". It wasn't a pretty sight ;
- roof of the Zelda was torn off
- all right roadwheels were broken off (1 is still missing)
- stowage racks broken

Conclusion : BEYOND MY ABBILITIES TO REPAIR

So, back to off, I'll have to order a new Zelda.
Luckily there is still enough time... and I might throw in a Merkava as well...

Lookming good Ernie! The cockpit came out well. Enough could be seen to see that you'd put alot of care into it. The whole thing is coming along nicely!

Man, I gotta get started on my halftrack!

Just checking in. The cockpit detail is not really showing up on the image. Still learning how to work the camera. Other than my lack of knowledge on my camera the build is coming along nicely. Big Smile [:D]

If the pics load very slow please let me know so that I can readjust the resolution.

Hey All,

I havent been around for awhile. Had a family emergency. Hopefully I will be able to get back to modelling real soon. Due to the emergency, I havent had a chance to do a thing lately. Actually more like a month! I just wanted to check and see how everyone was doing. Hope all is well. Take care.

I started the cockpit area today. Came out rather nice. The kit comes with photoechted parts which is rather nice. The fun part will be the painting. I thought I just check in.
