So it's gonna go over the Pacific and the Atlantic then, which means it will go all the way around the globe.........

We wouldn't want to run into any problems with the package crossing the borders would we. I can see customs officials seizing that in a second!!

Good point Dave If they saw pics of her they would probably seize the package, only cause they would want the pics of Madam Le "Kremp" for themselvesThumbs Up [tup]
BTW Tweets I've already showed a pic of my ugly mug here before so i have no objections with that planThumbs Up [tup]
Pingy Good to see it got there OK, So how far is it from Brisbane to your houseQuestion [?]
I know it's about 900KM from Bris to Sydney, I think we should count the Miles / Kilometeres this thing travels...........

Um, just a thought, but would people feel ok with taking a pic of themselves holding the model, kinda like a scrap book of the folks (victims?) involved in this little shin dig.

Would make an interesting display, placed with the completed kit in a case.

As far as I know, this is the first time anyone has tried this sort of thing.

Jules Got the kit this morning. Looks pretty good actually. The cockpit is pretty bare, but I reckon I can sort that out. I'm in Canberra at the moment, so I'll make a start on it when I get back home.

Pics I've seen are all black n white, so not much help. Tom, look for Big Rock Traditional Ale (My favourite!) I saw something a while back saying that they were marketing it in Texas as lots of your countrymen spend time up here drilling for oil and such!

Sorry Tom, no luck on the beer, I checked their website ( www.bigrockbeer.com ) and they only distribute it in Washington, Idaho, Montana and Oregon. Bummer for you.Sad [:(]

hmmmm... Big Rock... gonna have to look for it, I have had Rolling Rock and it was good.

Jules - as in the Corona from Mexico? They're four for a dollar most nights here... I like the Irish Reds. German Darks and Lagers, The Mexican Amber and Dark beers (Dos Equis and Negra Modelo)

Well then now I've gone and got myself a little teary eyed talking about my old friends here... but my all time favorite was Maccabee in Israel... an amber strong beer with the distinct flavor of formadelhyde, whose presence is verified by your sweat turning brown. Potent and only 1.5 shekels a can!! (about 40 cents US, well at least back then) Back in the day after I came back from the Gulf I used to have a yearly toast with Maccabee as a saulte to my times there and my comrades in arms there.. I can't find it any more but it sure brings back memories!

A little off topic, Wink [;)] but does anyone know the color of the sutton harness? All references pointed to a slightly tan white.. so I went for it.. just curious now even though I won't change it!

mm, all this talk of beer is making me thristy, and it's almost lunch tim ehere in Calgary. unfortanutely alcohol isn't allowed at work. Speaking of good beers, you should really try a local brew from Calgary called BigRock. They have several types and I know they market it in the US, but I'm not sure about Engalnd or Australia. MMM very good beer!

btw, my decals are still available if you want them. just let me know, I'll keep checking on this post to see how you guys are doing.Cool [8D]

Jules Not a lager drinker, only beer, ie Becks, IPA etc.

After all I figure lager means camp in German, and I'm not sure I want anything that comes out of a camp!

Jules Don't send beer with, it would only get warm in the post, except in this country of course, where it would probably freeze in summer!!!!

The idea is to down a beer as you post it, a sort of send off ceremony if you like!Big Smile [:D]
