Well done!   Love the detail on the powerplant.

Richard, the cockpits of Sea Furys weren't interior green but black.  So, I'm still stuck.  Hmm, still researching.

Arki30 - I am doing a Spitfire and it calls out for the wheel wells to be the same interior green as the cockpit.  I use Tamiya IJN cockpit green.

Here are the final shots.  One of the reasons it went together quickly is that there are not a lot of parts to assemble.

Here's a question.  Does anyone know what color Sea Fury wheel wells were?  The few pictures I've been able to dig up seem to suggest a grayish color.  It's definately different than the surrounding British Sky color of the underside.

Arki and Matt - thanks.  It might be due to the fact that I am totally retired and have nothing but time to do my modeling could be the reason I progress as I do.  I have another Group Build to do as soon as this is finished.  I am doing a 1/32 Me-163 for the battle of Germany group build

Richard,  Looks pretty good there, and I agree NOT FAIR!!  Just kidding, although you are moving much faster than I am, I haven't even started yet and probably wont until after Christmas.  I am working on a P-51B and trying to spruce up a 1/32 P-51D engine on the Hasa Man o' War kit.  I wont even see my 109 until later on this week when I get back home. 

Anyway, keep up the good work and keep posting Pics, wish that I had the time to build that fast!!!

Progress: Cutting Edge cockpit is painted aircraft interior black.  Now detail painting and assembly begins.  Will post pictures later. 

Thanks Arki, Matt and Mark I appreciate your comments.  Well I finished assembly Friday night an gave it a coat of primer.  Then between yesterday and this morning I was able to get the two colors done.  Now to let it totally dry and get it ready for decals.  A few other things such as main gear, canopy and some other items have also to be done.  The engine is just setting there and will not be made perminate until the final step of the build which should be around Wednesday..

I have not started yet. Work has been busy and all of the holiday stuff going on is making build time a rarity right now. Hope to start soon. Between Xmas and NY I should have plenty of time to get going, I hope!

Tanky, please list me as submitting a Bf-109G-14 with the Verlinden detail set and a bunch of Eduard PE along with (hopefully) a bunch of scratchbuilt stuff on the inside!

Thanks Tanky and Thom.  Here are further photos.

The instrument panel and Waldron foot pedals and I added foot straps.

Nose gear.

Seat with Eduard seat belts.

Main gear housing and struts.

Installed seat, instrument panel and nose gear.

Now a little internal touch up and then close it up.

Tankmaster: Please list on as my build subject the 1/32 Hasegawa Boeing F4B-4, will probably do a lot of scratchbuild detail on this. aftermarket items seem to be a bit scarce.

I have started the Revell 1/32 He-162 and the powerplant is complete.  I have have removed some of the moulded pipe as it is incorrect and replaced it with wire.  Now on to the pit.

I give up!  I'm diving into this build headfirst.  Frankly the FW-190 just wasn't going in a direction I wanted, so I'll need to strip the paint off and start over.  I'll just set it aside and get going on this GB instead. Woohoo!

Now, where did I put that box....?

I have actually picked up the box and looked at all the stuff inside, but other than that I have to finish a P-51B (CPT Gentile's bird) and then I should be able to start on my Bf-109G-14 with the eduard PE Sets, verlinden super detail set and some scratch built extras!!!

At the rate that I am able to get stuff done it will probably be Mid-December before I can start on this GB!!

Eagerly awaiting, but probably won't be able to start till mid-December.  Gotta get a couple of other projects done first, namely the FW-190.

So who else besides me is drooling with anticipation for the approaching start date??!!!  I have definitly been running through this build already in my head ( hope that doesnt constitute starting early), but will probably refrain from diving headlong into the chaos until somewhere around Christmas.  Although the temtation will be far too much to endure I am sure!!!!
