youve never seen one of those?Tongue [:P]

My grandma has one, I hate that thing. Its all quirked so that the slightest touch moves it across the whole screen. Although I like to take the ball out and roll it around. Big Smile [:D]

I've decided to take another shot of my almost finished turret. Thank you mike, I'm in the process of getting "Demon Days" on my computer
since I'm posting anyways, heres my mouse, and to tell the size, its the same size as your hand, since it is "ergonamic"
someone left it at my dads work (for DHS) and I asked him about it

No progress for the last couple of days, had to work today and yesterday, making the bling bling though, at an alarming 5.50 an hour. once I can drive, going to work at Best Buy, at 7.77 an hour, then after a little 8.00 then 8.50
I need to post a pic of my new mouse (computer), its insane, you dont move it, only the ball. its huge too

i have absolutely nothing to add about my build because i have had no time to build due to school. no one else has had any time to do anything either. no one therefore has anything to say that is modeling related. if this is what im supposed to talk about im afraid this will get pretty boring.

wowI come home from school to a mess. again.

I believe Ryan has no real business in here but whatever. We can always ignore him.

Michael, I understand this is not all modeling related but seriously come on! Many group builds "not naming any" from the past and present consisted of just goofing around and having fun with the progress reports coming in when there was some. Frankly Id find it a little boring if somebody continuosly just post
"well, I put on the landing gear and wings tonight."

Some group builds have a general comman, for example my pz II gb. It was easier for us to talk about the models because 4/5 of us were building the same kit. But this Group build is Completely different. This GB is for the people under 18 who like to model. The subjects are too broad for us to help most of the time.

I dunno, do what you have to. Thats just my My 2 cents [2c]

Smile [:)]

now away from that, time to go check the mail and see if my building arrived yet!

QUOTE: But if it's appropriate does it still have to be? Frankly I can understand why the last one was removed, but we've kept it completely clean here so does it matter if it's not related to modelling? Question [?]

Being appropriate or inappropriate has little to do with it. The point that keeps getting lost is that this is a modeling forum, for people to discuss their interest in modeling. Even the Odd & Ends area is defined as "For discussions relating to modeling or forum membership without a home. " Again, the key part of that phrase being "relating to modeling."

A little idle chit-chat about other things is perfectly acceptable and important to building the sense of community we'd like to foster, but it is becoming all too common in this particular GB for modeling to become something other than the primary subject matter.

So, maximize the discussion about what everyone's building and working on, and minimize the discussion about everything else and we should be fine.

And ryan, i believe the mods are keeping an eye on this thread by themselves, incidentally.

I'm STILL working on the resin pieces. Once I have them all cleaned up and ready progress will be much faster. (Alternately schools could be declared unconstitutional. That would speed progress up as well. Big Smile [:D]Tongue [:P]) I'm getting so much work from my teachers...

You have already seen the moderators wrath, I don't think you want to see it again. I'm just giving you friendly advice so you won't go flaming members if this group build is closed again.

As long as you post just a sentence about your build, it is still on-topic.

This is a group build, not a "post anything you like" topic. The mods already warned you once.

For the hell of it, I am posting every artist on my iPod, some I dont listen to, like D12, but my brother had the CDs, so I put em on there.
311
Blink-182
Cake
D12
Eric Clapton
Fall out Boy
Green Day
Guns N Roses
Helmet
Incubus
Iron Butterfly
Jimi Hendrix
Kanye West
The Killers
NWA
Rage Against the Machine
Rammstein
Rush
Sublime
I have every single NWA song ever, every single Rammstein song ever (except the new CD) and every Sublime song. Soon to have every Iron Butterfly song, and almost every Hendrix song.
And every Helmet song (Helmet is a early 90s rock band that is somehow different from most)

you're right, to be 16 really rocks!Cool [8D]

YES!! Greenday, Mudvayne, Linkin Park, (haven't heard much Slipknot that I can identify as such). Mudvayne is killer. Coldplay is another awesome one. there's jsut so much...I tend to be very midline.

I think the old Green Day stuff (from Dookie and Nimrod) is better than the new American Idiot, but the new stuff isnt bad either. NWA is awesome though, I think they're raps are funny, I dont know if theyre supposed to be though
Have you head the rock song on the radio called Boys in the Hood? Its a cover of the NWA song Boyz-in-the-Hood, and they actually were from the hood

not up to the challenge?[:0] Ya youre pretty much right. Why put up a fight with the italeri kit when I know this one will be 100x better. Glad I caught this one, I was planning on doing the italeri kit, and it would have ended up just like my tiger, spend lots of money on it, and then DML announces they are coming out with a new kit.

I'll be sure to post pics of the kit when it comes out and its in my handsBig Smile [:D]Wink [;)]

as for now there is no set release date, but hopefully there will be one soon.

intersting video. not sure how well itll stand up to the mods. i enjoy watching how the most vervently anti-Bush people work at making stuff look like major threats, and turn every board into a conspiracy. i hold a more a middle position, but its just intersting to see what each side offers up.

anyways, you might wanna take it out sergei. if you haven't been informed this GB recently underwent an extensive purging. the 'original' YG GB#3 got terminated for excessive off-topicing, obscenities, and other violations. not saying its what i prefer, but thats the rule if we want to keep this thing going. if you want i can e-mail you the details.

btw- love the rammestein vid. excellent

ya, weren't we out numbered in Iraq? I remember them having a whole bunch of t-72s and in one battle 6 M1s took out like 20 t-72s, not one of them getting off a shot. We may be small, but we even out with technology.

Geuss who's happy?

ME!

This means I wont have to build that italeri kit and miracle work it like gringe did!Big Smile [:D]

That was a cool Corporatism clip. Its weird they picked a Brit to talk about the Americans insatiable appetite for conquest. lol
It also said that America is becoming Fascist with military production behind it, that might be more true if America had a larger army

When is it going to be realeased? I couldnt find anything on isohunt, usually they have everything. All I could find is the song Benzin itself... wierd...
Something cool in German, which our new teacher just told us (after 2 years of a different teacher) is that you always pronounce the second vowel in the word. So, Rammstein would be Ramm Stine, not Ramm Steen. He also taught us these preposition songs

Sergie, glad to see you're still around. THat truly sucks though. Hopefully you'll be able to get some free time in.

DJ, sweet! I still havent heard that benzin song though, everytime I try to download it, it fails. I'll keep trying though.
Im not sure if you watch the history channel all that much, but they are going to have a special on the battle of Warsaw (the first one, not the uprising). Looks like it will be pretty good.

Wow, its been a very, very long time since ive posted. I'm sorry, ive been really busy. I went on vacation right before school, then high school started, and ive been working my ****** off ever since. and every weekend Ive been away. and now, my first weekend home in a while, I have 2 chapters of chemistry to do, with no deadline, so im assuming they have to get done NOW! and my english teacher cant stop giving us essays to do, and I have to memorize all the strong acids and bases, and all the solubility rules, which i thought even real chemists needed charts for. And now my grandpa's brother just died. this isnt really a huge tradgedy for me, cause i dont really remember him at all, but it just sort of spreads an atmosphere of gloom over things.

And so, im not really getting much modelling done. at all. I've been made a mod on another forum, and spend all my time deleting some of the crap that people post there. I now have a new respect for the commissars of the web.

anyway, i may have to drop out of this, as well as any other group builds that i a in for lack of time.

in the meantime, please enjoy this wonderful music video made by a russian singer to commemorate victory day.
