Count me in!  Not sure which kit yet.  Probably the Zhengdefu SU-35 in 1/48.  OK, I know it's a pretty poor kit, with an even poorer conversion to SU-35 standard, but it's one of those itchy kits that just needs to be done, so it's done, else it just sits there, as a challenge!  Busy for now, but a 1st September start is good for me, probably have time in mid to late September.

I'm interested.

I need to get money and a few other GB's out of the way but if this thing starts I'd be willing to jump in.

Ok all, just testing the waters once again.  I will be willing to oversee this Group Build, with the above stated guidelines, if anyone is interested!! I think that the timeframe should be September 1, 2006 until July 1, 2007.  That should allow all of us plenty of time to see to our other commitments, modeling and otherwise.

If you would be interested just let me know!!  Big Smile [:D]

Seeing that this Idea created no ripples in this pond it is formally canceled until further notice, or until I get that wild hair up my Censored [censored] to try it again!!

Happy New year and good luck on all your modeling adventures!!!

The Great Flanker Group Build - Now until 2010??
Posted by blkhwkmatt on Monday, December 19, 2005 4:10 PM

I have long been a fan of the Su-27 and all it's variants. So I am wondering if anyone would be interested in a Group Build?

Here are the basic rules: (the rest we'll make up as we go!)
     1.  Must be one of the many Su-27 variants  in service with any nation or a "What if" scheme
to include the Su-47 Berkut.

     2.  Any scale, AM, scratchbuilding, and Photo Etch are ok, so is OOB.

     3.  Can be built in conjunction with another group build, project or anything.

     4.  Have FUN and post your pictures!!!!Smile [:)]

A Group Build Badge will be designed at a later date, and I am open to any and all design suggestions!!!!

Tentative dates: start date: Sept '06       end date: TBD

The List
Blkhwkmatt:        1/72 Su-27 Flanker B(RoG), Su-47 Berkut(Italeri), Su-37 (Zevsda)

ygmodeler4:        Undecided
