Can the figure can be 1 from a box of say 4??

If it can I will do one from this set - can't do all of them yet anyway... If I do have time, I might put them all into a small dio, but keep me as a maybe, I'll let you know for sure when I finish all my other builds.

FrogFoot,

I seem to be having some difficulties with using the reply feature on this website as I could not get a response to go through yesterday.  Anyway, I have not tried a group build yet, but this one sounded interesting as I am already working on Tamiya's 1/16 scale Modern U.S. soldier.  As I am reasonably far into this project, I may attempt to get another one or two figures built and painted during the build period that is established.  I am also going to have to figure out how to include digital photos along the way, as the response screen that I am using is acting as a text search program rather than the e-mail programs that I am used to using.Banged Head [banghead]

I look forward to trying something new, and hopefully learning a thing or two along the way.

Welcome Scott! If you want you can join in with the Tamiya U.S soldier. And if you need any help on the photos  feel free to ask

As for my build I am droping the Kain figure and switching to a knight maybe.

Off topic post 400!

Thanks for the offer for assistance, and for welcoming me to the group.  As I stated, I am pretty close to finishing the Tamiya figure, so I may add something else as well.  The response issue is rather maddening as I am not completely computer illiterate.  I have been using a couple of different e-mail programs at work for the past fourteen years, and I completed my Bachelor's degree online, during which we were required to make frequent postings.  Why my message section acts like a search engine is not only strange, but the way that it keeps jumping around looking for everything as I type gets old after a while.  Anyway, I am sure that I will be talking to you and the others online, so lets have some fun with this.

Here's my progress:

I used pre shading to see how it would work on a figure (first pic is the result). The second pic shows the completed flesh and face.

BTW Buddho it's not very nice to be so quick in your work!
Just kidding, outstanding work as usual. Thumbs Up [tup]

Started some work today on the figure

Just the basic flesh painted on right now will do some more work on the face tommorrow. Keep in mind I am not that great of a figure painter yet. And here is a test fit with the helmet

And here are a leg and arm that I built while waiting for paint to try

btw Avus I looked at your website those are some great figures! Same goes for you to Wolfp!

FrogFoot, thanks for looking at my site and for your appretiation.

I have one of those knights, too (the black Prince). For the big scale they are in, detail is a bit lacking but overall they are a fun build. And your work is proceeding well.

Had a glance at Wolfp's gallery and the figures are very well done; I usually don't make war game figures but I like to look at them when they are painted well.

March 1st, wow, that gives me plenty of time. Wink [;)]  I apologize for not showing up in the forum for a while, but life happens sometimes, and we all have our priorities.  Anyway, I notice that the pictures are not showing up on the last couple of postings that you have (the block says the link is broken).  I would like to post a photo or two of my progress on the modern soldier, so I need HELP!  Question [?] How do I place a picture in one of my replies? Question [?]  I am used to attaching files to e-mail, but I am not sure how to work with this program.  Any assistance from anyone will be greatly appreciated.
