Arrgh! yesterday, I filled those gaps with squadron white putty and sanded them smooth (before I read these posts), and everything was going good. then, I realized that as I was sanding one root, I was slightly flexing the other, and all the putty cracked and some pieces fell out.
Then, in my stupidity, I decided that some cement applied to the gaps might help. I tried to wipe off the excess with my finger,
but the plastic had already been softened, and I managed to really mess up the surface around the seam. I might just pry off the wing and clean it up, then try one of your guys' methods. I'll let you know how it turns out.
