I just started the Tamiya 1/32 A6M2 and with all the PE parts I have to
add, no clue on when I could get back to Formula 1.  But I do have
a 1/43 Jordan 191 and a 1/20 2004 BAR sitting on the on deck
circle.  So if there is a little time to get the bench cleared,
count me in!  Probably do the BAR and stay with the current
Japanese theme I seem to have going.  Big Smile [:D]

Nope Bob...that was Pete Brock Bre 240.  I have Walt Maas' SCCA Far Performance "Giant Killer" Z.  This is a 30-year old kit, I don't believe it was re-released after the 1978 version but could be wrong.

Dan-is that the BRE SCCA racing 240z?  If so, that is a great kit (and a great car).  I remeber building one (the kit) way back when......it was a new kit!

Got the Revell Giant Killer Z in the mail today. Kit is from 1978 and is rough to say the least.  No shake and bake build here.  The decals are pretty much shot.  This is going to be fun!

I would like to do a Revell - Dale Jr. #8 Bud car if it is open to NASCAR.

Hey, sorry I need to edit my entry.Banged Head [banghead] Now that I got a chance to look at it, it's a Tamiya 1/20 Honda F1 RA 272 not a 271.

William,

Are you going to update the first post with rules and current entrants? It might be helpful to people who look at this thread to decide if they want to join. That way they don't have to scan all the pages to find out what this GB is about.I am not to savy on the forum yet but if I can help let me know.

Stephen

Does my allready-slightly-in-progress-but-currently-standing-still Le Mans Min Audi R8 (2001 winner) count? Or will this require a fresh build? If so, still in, just don't know what with yet!

I may be entering to many group builds, but it was between this and the monogram one. (I need a break after i complete my P-61 from monogramDead [xx(]) So I'll join your group build with Tamiya's Porsche 911 GT-1. I've already started it, but all I have accomplished is the engine if that is okay. If not I have Tamiya's Mercedes CLK DTM2000.Cowboy [C):-)]

Dustin-put me down for the John Greenwood "Stars & Stripes" Corvette, Sebring 1971.  Will probably add another one later in the year.

Thanks for heading this one up-usually not a lot of motorsports activity in the Group Builds.

Kenny,  looks like another great looking badge to me...we'll see what Dustin and the rest think.

Dustin, might be time to take the ????? out of the title line because this build is going to happen! Big Smile [:D]  You might replace them with the official start date.
