Wow, FMM! That looks great! Even better than the previous blackbird you did a few years back! And i have to say that the red decals against black sure look more bold than they did on my Dragon Lady too. Not sure what you mean about the 976 and 972. Am i correct to assume that you printed these up?

Warmest regards,

Roger

Yeah I would say the red lines really stand out,  the two long ones were trickie to move.  Now about what # was going to do was at first 17976, the one with the tiger on the tail.  But in making decals, I ran into a problem with the decals losing there color's as soon as you move them off the paper.  So I decided to go number 17972, the decal sheet with the kit came with markings for 972.  But I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Well I think I'm finished with this tricky blackbird, It was a great feeling when I hung her up.  The canopys have a nice shine on them, after dipping them in future.  What do you think?

Wow, she is pretty, FMM! Very well done! Now i wanna do one even more!

I do have one queston though. Looking at the pictures posted, i've noticed that the rear landing gear tires are grey. Wouldn't they be black? Just curious...

Hey guys, just a heads up. I'm gonna be on the forums a little less frequently than i had been before. I'm actually in the  middle of moving out of my apartment now (rent issues) and it's gonna take me awhile until i can get set up elsewhere; or at least get some kind of stability happening here and I can be a little more predictible. No worries, guys. I'm not gonna be disappearing for months on end. Just a bit of a snag is all. Cheers!

Warmest regards,

Roger

DesertRat-The main landing gear tires are painted chrome silver, the hups are flat black.  The instrutions say to paint them a mix of orange and steel or somthing like that.  I know the main front gear is all black, but coudn't find a good clear picture of the rear.

Desert Rat- good look with your moving.

Ok, now that's really unusual! I wonder what the point of that is. But nonetheless, she looks great!

Thanks for the kinda words. I managed to clear quarters on saturday. Now i'm just wondering if i'll see any of my security deposit back. Budget cuts to the Full Time Guard here has resulted in the termination of my technician position, so while i'm "the guy on the couch" to my brothers, i'm hitting up job interviews here. But at least the move is done for now. Now i've just got to get back on track here and get a new career going.

But for the time being, i had a chance to get online for a little bit, and i figured i would check in with you guys here. This weekend is going to be hectic, so watch out for the combat shoppers, travel safe this holiday season, and have a wonderful christmas season. I wish all of you guys well, and i'll check in with you guys as often as i can. Cheers!Make a Toast [#toast]
