Gentlemen...........

after reading your posts it strikes me that most of you are happy to continue on this thread to begin our USN/USMC group build. With that in mind, may I suggest that we have a April 2008 start date? That would be the one year anniversary of our FAA GB.

Also, we need a name for it, my thinking has taken me to USN Fleet Air Wings GB (USNFAWGB)

We will have the same rules as before, only I will update the page 1 post with an extra heading  for the new GB so we can all see who is building what.......I hope this is OK with you chaps..Blush [:I]

As for a new GB badge.......any takers? I'll have a crack at doing one later.

Please let me know if you are happy with all this!

Regards, Darren. C.A.G. FAA/USNFAW GB

Darren-although I may not be able to start in April, please sign me up for the USN/USMC GB.  I have an Accurate Miniatures SBD-3 (Midway) sitting in the stash looking for a reason to get built.  And you guys are fun to hang around with also......Big Smile [:D]

No way I'm missing this, Darren!! I'm in with my 1/72 Tamiya F4U-1A Corsair! Might even motivate me to build that 1/48 Hasegawa F4-B w/the Black Box 'pit and VF-84 markings that have been sitting in my stash like forever! Big Smile [:D]

...and Happy B-Day [bday] Darren!!! Party [party] Make a Toast [#toast]

I think I would like to joint in for the USN group build too. Put me down for a 1/48 scale F9F Panther. I know I know doesn't count but I also have a model of the light carrier USS Independence.

Darren, can you change me from undecided to 1/48 Sea Hawk on the first page please

ATTENNNNNNNN....................SHUN!

Gentlemen,

those who have been crazy  brave enough to engage in the USNFAWGB have had their names added to our illustrious roll of honour on page one.

If anyone else would like to join us in April 2008 for the great builds, great pals and great laughs.........let us know. All you need is a kit, some glue, some paint and a sense of humour.

See you on the deck................... Wink [;)]
