I had a bad session at the bench last night after almost two week of no modeling. I was pretty exhausted but thought I would give it a go anyway. Well not only did I manage to spill primer all over me the airbrush and the bench but I also managed to loose the chucking nut (it holds the needle in place) for my Iwata to the carpet monster during the big cleanup It took me forty minutes of searching on my hands and knees before I finally found the little bugger lodged in a crevice near some cupboards. Mental note to self "don't model when you're buggered". |

Great advice, and I really try to stick with that. The last time I modelled when I was dog-tired I managed to break shatter a Swann-Morton scalpel blade which took a large chunk outta the fuslage I was working on and the piece that flew up put a large chip in the lens plate of my optivisor. Lucky for me, I was wearing it (OK, I am ALWAYS wearing it!) so me eyes were protected.
Sorry to go off on a tangent, bummer about your bench time Darren. Hope you are able to salvage any damage and kill TONS of zombies!
Gentlemen, I am finally home after a grueling week. Work, snow removal, and sub-zero temps have taken it's toll. I'm gonna kick back, relax, and take it easy tonight. I have the next four days off so hopefully LOTS OF BENCH WORK!!! And, tomorrow we have a high temp forecast of above zero! I am so excited! Hopefully, it's the end of these 35 degree below zero wind chills. BRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
Gents, a toast. To everyone, wherever you are take a moment to think about the ones who can't be here with us today. And to Roger, hopefully all is well for him. Cheers mate!
