You know I have never figured out the formula for paint. I have had some I have cared for exactly that go bad in a month. Some others that I have mixed and destroyed any chemical originality that last for decades. I still have a bottle of flat white from a local 5 and dime store that is good bought in 1979 for 19 cents. Testors enamel in the small bottle. The lid even rusted. Keep it mostly for nostalga. Got a new 600 watt power supply today. Has more separate feeds each with it's own amp rating. Guarenteed for 3 years. No more fires or smoking computer lets hope. Keeping my eye on it in case something else caused the overload, Sure feels good to type again! I am going to try to jump on and finish the Half Track. Also A warning there is a boliva virus that is really nasty. Feeds a convincing e-mail about seeing a contact nekid. If you see such an e-mail destroy it. Not that we get off subject here or anything. Wife got it and it sent me an e-mail from her about seeing her nekid..... Knew better than that we are married! |

Now to business yer eminences, There is a very significant X factor in hobby paints, to wit how old it is before it came to you. I stopped buying paint from dusty little hobby shops a long time ago because you open the thing up and its sludge with a layer of thinner.
Ditto from the web, never know what you get. I carry a shopping list of paint with me at all times, and when I go to a city where there is a big and active hobby store, I stock up.
