I spray Future out of the bottle, unthinned, at 20psi using a Paashe H3.  Never had a problem with clogging.

Nam,

How old is your bottle of Future?  Some say it has a shelf life, and I replace mine every 6 mos. just to be sure.  Also, temperature probably does impact it.  Not sure if this helps, but here's how I do it:

Temp in shop- 65-70 degrees

AB- Badger 200 single action

Future- fresh, undiluted

Air pressure- 15 to 20 psi

Light coats, first two or so

Wait 10 to 15 minutes between

last coat a bit heavier, but not so heavy it runs (hard to judge- practice on a scrap plane)

Hope that helps, maybe something there could help.  Any ???, you know where to find me. Smile [:)]

As some know here I am without regular employment this week so I'm spending time at the bench and too much time here......"and at the bottom of ev'ry bottle!"  Pirate [oX)]

But! I cannot get the hang of spraying Future!!!! All my AB's clog in a heartbeat.

Of course you know that I have been reading the threads......trying the various mix ratios......read Swanny's great article..........you name it. It must be a psi issue.

I have a cheap single action AB (which usually works great for wide sprays).....and two Badger AB's (one single, one double........one bottom feeder.....one gravity. I have used from 4 to 12 psi and get either clogs.....or blobs of Future on the model.

Did lay down a decent coat for decals.....but now nothing! Does temperature have anything to do with it? It has been colder here lately.

This is for my SeaGlad for the past FAA GB......really need to get it done.

Thanks folksPirate [oX)]
