Good man!  Be sure to keep those decks ship-shape, as the CAG wouldn't have it any other way! Pirate [oX)]

How did it go at the doctor yesterday Darren?  Is everything healing up alright so you can eat some bangers-n-mash?

Just got off the phone with Roy, and all is well with him.  He said to tell everyone that he is doing well and will be back online in a few weeks after he gets settled in there.

CAG does not repond to repeated beatings upon his cabin door and men are falling from the yardarms!

Franky......Take this Tammy Fairey Stringbag off my hands! It comes with PE and the rip-snort exhaust in resin. Yours for the wanting! I can't sleep some nights knowing it's here!

We'll make it up down the road....(Unless you have a Tammy F2A you wanna trade)

Seriously.....interested......I'll send it

Very cool!  Are those wingfolds from MDC?  I have heard great things about their stuff, but have not been able to find anyone over on this side of the pond who carries their products. Boohoo [BH]

I have also considered another FAA build, but don't know what to build.  Any ideas?

We have had some sunny days here but its deathly cold at night, I'm sat by the fireside with a warm mug of tea in my hand!

I'm looking foward to the spring too, lots more daylight and hopefully more sunshine too.

I'm planning another FAA build too, my mate came to visit yesterday and he bought me a few presents to cheer me up. One of which was a 1/48 wingfold set for the Seafire I/II/III.....so I will have to get my mitts on another Mk.III kit methinks!Pirate [oX)]

Glad to hear you'll be careful out there!
I'm jealous about being out in the garden, sounds wonderful to be outside!  It's sunny here today, though a large storm is predicted for tomorrow night with 6-12 more inches of snow!  Oh, how I long for spring...

Sigh [sigh]

That's great news Darren!  I am relieved to hear that it is improving, and that there is light at the end of the tunnel.  When will you be able to return to work?  I bet it has been a very long week for you, though it sounds as if you have slept through most of it! Zzz [zzz]  Hang in there, and take care of yourself and good heavens no gardening for a while- it's too bloody dangerous!

Frank,

thanks for asking,

the eye is much improved. Most of the swelling has gone and the blood is fading from the whites of my eye slowly. Its still painful, but at least I can see out of it. I rest it for a while each day by putting the "patch" back over it.

As for my throat, it is less inflamed and I have started eating again-but by thunder its sore! The pills I have to take make me so tired that I spend half of my day asleep! I have nearly finished the course of tablets now so I hope I will be back to my old self soon. I get checked out by my doctor on Monday morning-I should be right by then.Wink [;)]

"NOW HEAR THIS!"

As your CAG, it is my duty to issue the weekly rum ration........due to recent events Black Eye [B)] I have decided, against my better judgement to issue the rum locker key to the X/O.

Lt. Daywalker will do a sterling job in my absence I'm sure. Until I return from the sick bay, he's in charge.Captain [4:-)]
