Thanks Nam!  Yep, it was the Seafire that won 3rd in 1/48 Allied prop and Best British Aircraft.  I am still in shock!  I like it, but I would have picked other models over it.

Thank you very, very much!  I still can't believe it, there was a GORGEOUS 1/32 Spitfire Mk.I and a 1/72 scratchbuilt Sopwith aircraft that were bloody amazing!  I am very proud of that one!

Darren- Blush [:I] Wow, thanks mate!  I couldn't wait to tell you, without your help she never would have even made it to the contest table.  Thanks again! Big Smile [:D]

BEST BRITISH AIRCRAFT

There were Spitfires, Hurricanes, Mosquitos, Beaufighters, and a myriad of other superlative British planes.  Unbelievable!  The show was huge, with around 800 entries and the stiffest competition I have ever seen.  I am still in shock!

Have a good one Frank! Take some pics for us will you?

Not much going on in the workshop at the minute, I'm spending some quality time with my family.Approve [^]

I might get a little time over the weekend, if I do I'd like to finish sanding my Seafire and maybe get some paint on the airframe. In the meantime, its late and I'm treating myself to a drink by the fireside.

I'd like to take this opportunity to remember our absent friends. To Roy and Roger...CHEERS!Pirate [oX)]Make a Toast [#toast]

Thanks Nam!

Darren- Could you put me down for a 1/48 Tamiya Swordfish Mk.II for the FAAGB?  After a horrible, grueling 14 hour day at work, I came home to find a 1/48 Tamiya Mk.II Stringbag sitting on my doorstep with some PE, resin and a Squadron "In Action" book!  Thank you so much Nam, you really made my day with that.  I surely do hope that I do her proud, and really can't wait for the day to repay the favor.  Much appreciated! I did a little more sanding to my Seafire tonight, its going to take a lot of work to make this one pass muster! I am hoping all the hard work is worth it.
