Woohoo, it's the weekend!!!  Time for a tot o' rum... cheers! Make a Toast [#toast]

Darren- A new kit, eh?  Very cool, I don't have one of those yet.  But, I did find a box from a favorite online hobby store at my doorstep yesterday...

I know, fell off of the wagon again...

But, I couldn't resist!  There's a FAW GB coming up in two weeks!  I just HAD to order that stuff.  Really, I did...

OK, so I am just trying to convince myself.

"Hello, my name is Frank and I buy a lot more models than I will EVER build."

"Hi, Frank."

Sigh [sigh] Oh, well...

Dave- Sounds like you really have your hands full, as well as Roy!

My weekend just barely started, hope everyone has a good weekend!  Make a Toast [#toast]Make a Toast [#toast]Make a Toast [#toast]

Thanks guys for your comments on the case.  I won't actually get around to filling it for awhile as I am expecting lots of family for a visit over the Easter weekend.  Then I have to wait until June before I can actually set up in the Den as we have a international student staying with us until then.  In June the kids will switch rooms freeing up the den which is currently being used as a bedrooom.  In the meantime I have to finish the new bedroom so I don't want to set it up in there during construction.  My head hurts just thinking about it. Confused [%-)] Oooii!!!

I watched the 40 year old.  Monday night I will watch Man on Fire.  Darson, I liked to AVP movie.  Not as good as the books but what movie lives up to the book?  Lord of the Rings perhaps.

As for the weekend, I have one and a half hours out of two still at work.  Life is rough for me.  i will have to pick up some drink on the way home, wine for the wife and brew for meMake a Toast [#toast]

Well Lads I've got some awesome news!!! Party [party]  Look what my wife bought for me at an auction house tonight.

Cool eh! Its perfect, 24" x 44" with locking doors and glass shelves for $200.00.  Even my biggest 4 engine bombers and the 1/72 Snowberry in my stash will fit in it.  I'm stoked!!!

Of course there is a method to her generosity (with women there usually is) as she wants me to build another bedroom were the workshop currently resides and wants me to move my modeling stuff into the den off the TV room.  My delaying tactic was that I needed a display case so that my models wouldn't get destroyed by flying objects when the kids are rough housing.  So much for delaying the inevitable.  Sad [:(]  Looks like I got some work cut out for me!

Good choice Roy, I've never seen Man on Fire but AvP is a load of rubbish and AvP Requiem that I watched the other night is worse. Beowulf is not bad as a bit of techie animation, but the Danish live action version from 2005 is much better.

Cheers

Hmmm... you're probably already watching but my vote is for Beowulf!  If you want funny go for 40yr old virgin.  Alien vs. predator, haven't seen it but just the title screams no at me.  Never heard of Burning Man.  Anything to do with the yearly hedonistic festival in the desert by the same name?  If so make sure the kids are in bed first. OK guys, another rough night on the job.  The problem is what movie to watch: 40 year old virgin, Beowulf, Alien vs. Predator, or the Burning man?

Any suggestions?
