Hello my name is Roy and I buy model kits.

Spoke to Frank today about the idea of a support network?  Who out there needs a sponsor?  let me know who will take part and we can pair you up with someone.

Also I want to share some great news with you guys.  If all goes well we should have the keys for our new home on 31 MarchMake a Toast [#toast]

Now who of you are willing to help us move in?  Rum and food will be provided.

Darren-

Well, they say everything comes in threes.  A poke to the eye, then an infection in your mouth/throat, and now an infection in your bad eye.  That's three, you're all finished!

Chin up mate, it's gonna be better soon!  An extra tot of rum ought to do the trick nicely. Make a Toast [#toast]

Sometimes............you have to laugh or you'll cry. Lads, I have caught an infection in my bad eye. Spent the morning in hospital then did my shift at work. I'm so tired-I have managed to bring my rest day forward so I will have Tuesday off duty. I think I will sleep well!

OK, one more shift to go............Wink [;)]

Nam,

Glad to see you're feeling better!  Must have been the extra rum rations...

And now, a little pirate humor from over on ARC:

A pirate is on his ship, with his First Mate standing next to him. As they look out on the sea, another ship appears on the horizon. The Pirate looks at his First Mate and says: "Get me Red Shirt from me locker!" The First Mate gets the shirt, the Pirate puts it on, they attack the other ship and plunder it.
The Pirate removes the shirt, and the First Mate puts it back in it's locker. Later, as they look out on the sea, two ships appear on the horizon. The Pirate looks at his First Mate and says: "Get me Red Shirt from me locker!" The First Mate gets the shirt, the Pirate puts it on, they attack the ships and plunder them.
The First Mate asks the Pirate: "Why do you put on that Red Shirt to attack?" The Pirate replies: "It's so me crew doesn't loose confidence. If I get hurt and bleed, they won't know." Just then, they look up and see twenty boats on the horizon. The First Mate smiles and asks: "Do you want me to get your Red Shirt?" The Pirate replies: "No, get me Brown Pants!"

Darson, great to see that you got your gift.  i think the F-86 is one of the greatest all time good looking aircraft.

Well mates, we put a bid on another house, hope they accept this one.  Should know by Sunday.

For those of us that are trying not to by more kits may I suggust you get a support buddy.  For example:  Frank called me the other day from Hobby Lobby, he was on the verge of falling off the wagon.  I was able to reason with him and needless to say he is back on the wagon.  We must support each other in our moments of weakness and keep them strong.  Now we can bend the rules if a really great deal comes along, too good to be true, talk to you sponsor he/she can help you with that.

I like your thinking Frank! Thumbs Up [tup]  I too have a bit of a cold and a little boy that is turning 8 today so not much happening at my bench this weekend.

Darson, I once had a package that I ordered from Greatmodels that took 3 months to get to me.  I don't feel so bad now.

LOL, hope you feel better soon Darren!  Sounds like there is a nasty virus traveling around the ship.  Perhaps double rum rations will help bring it down! Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Frankie, Yep, you gave that PBY heads-up! Can't wait!

Right now I am definitely feverish.....need medicinal rum! This may allow me to get some building in this weekend. Right now, I'm fondling (in a nice way), a model I rec'd from a pal.

But I must concentrate on the SeaGlad! Have aspirin.....need the rum!

Thanks for adding that to my list Darren!  If I can get my hands on a PBY this year, maybe I'll get to do that one too.  Sorry to hear your work schedule is interfering with your hobbies.  Sounds like time to win the lottery so you can retire and build more! Big Smile [:D]
