The only thing I know about bollocks is that it's the name of a Sex Pistols album.  So is that good or badConfused [%-)]

LOL, Great idea!  I really like the idea of "FAWGB".  That would open us to an almost endless series of builds!

Glad to help!  I spent a while at my LHS going through all of the greens and it looked like a winner to me!

Lads,

I think its safe to say that this GB will go on in one form or another. I will keep this thread going until all my FAA aircraft have been built or until the webmasters shut this down. I would like to politely ask one thing.........can we keep the name? Its the name we started with and I'd like to keep it.

I don't own this GB and it would not be as great as it is without all of you. I'd just like to keep the name if its OK with the rest of you........Shy [8)]

I'm off to work for three days now.......have a chat about it and see what you think. If you really want to change the name.....fair enough. I'll stand by what the group would like to do.

See you three days.

I don't mind if we keep the name.  FAA could also mean the naval arm of other countries.

If I might suggest opening that up to Harriers of all kind, FAA, RAF, Marine Corps & Indian Navy.  I have just been checking out the Hasegawa GR-7 Operation Telic kit at the LHS and it looks sweet.  I can definitely see one of those babies in my future that's for sure.

Cheers

Edit: Ooops I forgot the Italian Navy also use AV-8B Harriers

Roy as a former Aztek owner I would effeminately go for the spray booth.  I would never bag someone who owns and Aztek but I could not in honesty recommend them to anyone.  I happily traded up to an Iwata Eclipse several years ago and have been happy with it since.

Cheers

I have looked into the Iwatas I think it was the Eclipse?

As for the Harriers, I'm in let me finish the Spitifre, Corsair and the Albatros and I will look for a good Harrier kitWink [;)]

After all this I will be ready for the USN/USMC build.  Maybe the FAA could morph into it?  Or as Frank said..."Foes of the FAA"

Roy,

if I was asked which airbrush is best for double action I would say Iwata. Yes, they are bloody expensive, but in my experience it is a worthwhile investment. Again, just an opinion......Smile [:)]

As for making the ending of this GB indefinite......I've got plenty of FAA kits to build and I'm building them here! Unless the mods shut this thread down, I'll be here for ages!!Pirate [oX)]

The paint booth would just make it nice to paint at my desk.  As for the airbrush I have heard good things about the Aztek.  Right now I use a Paasche H single action.  Frank recomended the Badger, Jon the Aztek.  So the question is what would be the best for a double action?

Roy......

this is just my personal opinion. Unless your heart is set on one, don't buy an Aztec, I've had three-all bad. There are better airbrushes out there. Trust me.

So my vote goes to the spraybooth.

Just my My 2 cents [2c] mate.

That's a tough one Roy!  Do you have an airbrush right now, and if so, which one?  I don't know much about the Azteks, so I if you already have an airbrush then my vote would go for the spraybooth.

Then again- Since you live in Florida, you can prolly paint outside 365 days a year!  So my other vote goes to the Aztek.

Confused [%-)]
