Well, i should probably say that i'm sorry, Darren. But why lie? After all, it wouldn't be the holidays without a little "see honey, i told ya so".

Thank God it's the weekend!!!! (hope no one minds, but i figured i would hire the waitress tonight.

I have requested leave for 24th/25th Dec. won't know if its been approved until next month. As for new year.....I'll be on duty.

Still, at least I get to have a god drink on my days off after new year!

Almost 7pm here in the northeastern US.....got in less than an hour ago. At least we stayed on the job and folks have nice new heat to enjoy despite their presumptions...("can't you come back and finish tomorrow?")....heh....not if you want heat tonight!

The amount of wrapping paper it would take to do the Dora Rail Gun would be close to the price of the kit....XXXXXXXXXX will just have to deal with it

Roger, ya, that's the way it goes with those things I guess.

Rick, I've only done a quick look over but flash is present and plentiful as are the ejector pin marks which are huge!  Surface detail is by way of raised rivets (no actual panel lines) but they are not too out scale.  It will require some patience but shouldn't be anymore difficult than the B-17F that I built a couple of years ago.

Sure is, Dave! Probably kinda messed up, but that's one thing i'm holding for ransom until the divorce is settled. Besides, somehow she ended up with my U2 Joshua Tree Tour Poster. "Tit for tat", i guess

Dave, I haven't seen the Hasegawa re-issue of the Rita.  One I always wanted to build but haven't got to it.  How is the re-issued tooling  holding up?

Thanks for the birthday wishes lads.   It's been a rather subdued one with just the cake and a few presents from the kids as the wife and I took a trip to Reno a few weeks ago to kind of celebrate both our birthdays (it was her 40th...  shsssssh, you didn't here that from me ).  I took the opportunity to feed the stash monster while I was down there with a Revell Germany He 177 A-6 and Hasegawa'a recently re-released G8N1 Rita.  I'm REALLY looking forward to building both of those!
