They do! They do!

So whats the American version? Hey- do you guys have Bakewell Tart?  Now thats really good!Tongue [:P]

Not sure if we have an American version of those.  We do have "English muffins" which look similar, but are probably larger.  As for Bakewell Tart, I can't say I have ever heard of it.  We do have biscotti (Italian, me thinks) to dip into our coffee.  Now those are good!  Boy, I bet you're thinking:

"Those Americans, how uncivilized."

I managed a bit of time in the shop today, and did some detail painting on the Seafire.  I finished up the tailwheel and main wheels, radiators, and exhausts.  As soon as my stencils arrive (hopefully Monday) I can button up the decals and get ready for another coat of clear and then attaching all of the fiddly bits.  She's really starting to come together now, finally!

Darren-

Can't wait to see some pics of that B-25!  Judging from the work thus far, it's gonna look spectacular!

As for your next FAA build, my vote definately goes for the Sea Fury!

Totally Sign - Off Topic!! [#offtopic] but what the heck-you lot are used to me by now!!

I have had the most wonderful day just plodding along in my workshop and somehow after lots of tea, red wine and unspeakable swearing i have managed to get an awful lot of work done on my B-25. It has occurred to me that this is the first US Bomber that I've ever built.......lord knows what my American mates will make of it-I hope it will look half decent when I show you some pics.Blush [:I]

I don't know where the time has gone on this one-I am doing two other group builds as well as scheming another  FAA build!!

So where should I go next ?

In early production we have:

1/32 Neiuport 17-WWI GB

1/48 F-117-Lockheed GB

and well........I need to fly navy!! Soooooo............

You get to choose my next FAA build!

Should I build:

1/48 Hasegawa RN Phantom FG.1?

1/48 Airfix RN S.2 Buccaneer?

1/48 Airfix RN Sea Harrier FA.2?

1/48 Hobbycraft RN Hawker Sea Fury?

What do you think?

Kit with the most votes after obe week wins!

Sounds like a wonderful show!  Don't forget to give those Airfix fellas a hard time about some of their moldings on that Mk46/47 kit.  Also, please tell 'em to ramp up the 1/48 Spitfire early Mk.I production.  I want one and they are bloody hard to find on this side of the pond!

After a day of decaling, I can say that I successfully applied the Aeromaster decals to the '46.  They aren't quite as nice as I would like, but I think they look OK.  Especially when I consider that I had no back-up plan!  The major markings and squadron markings are on, but I have to wait for my stencil decals to arrive from Squadron.  So far so good!  Here's a couple of shots with the markings on:

And you guys thought all I did was lay around drinking rum... Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

I tried some of the Mr. Softer, and it seems to be helping.  While a little too strong for Tamiya decals, it seems to be gradually pulling these Aeromasters down.

I grabbed another set of them I had laying around for a P-51 Mustang to test one of those on a test hack.  Same problem!  I must be in the minority here, as I would MUCH prefer to work with Superscale decals, or the kit ones from Monogram, Tamiya, and Hasegawa.  Wish I knew what the problem was.  I am gonna try some Mr. Softer right now, to see if that helps. Sigh [sigh]  Thanks for the help, guys!
