You know Darren, you gave me an ideaMake a Toast [#toast]  Some of you may or may not know this but Roy here is a homebrewer (with a few 1st place brewsMake a Toast [#toast])  Anyway I was talking to my wife the other day about brewing up some.  In honor of our FA GB maybe I should do an English IPA (love the hops)

Yep! That's pretty much the jist of it, Frank! If i remember correctly, the discussion of the Red markings were in that thread you had posted the Hog before. But yeah, some of those would be awesome! If the GB kicks off late spring, that'll gimme plenty of time to prep. If ya can spare a set of those, that would be great!

Warmest regards,

Roger

100 pages is quite a feat, even if it isn't officially a record.  The comradiere here is wonderful, and to be able to hang out here and share not just models but life in general is truly a gift.  I consider everyone here my friend, and look forward to another 100 pages!  I agree with Roger, the rum helps too! I have plenty of those markings if you need any.  And yes, that's similar to the markings the one in my avatar is wearing.  here she is a lil' larger:

Did I hit 100?

Darren-fine looking lad you have there....enjoy him at this age.  Mine is now looking me straight in the eye....they grow up too quickly...

The Dauntless is outstanding.  You do good work.

Hope you recover from the pox soon.  And feel well enough now to enjoy the time off.

Not sure! I've seen some threads elsewhere that go as high as 156 pages or so, but i don't think they are in the GB forum!

You have to admit Darren, if you didn't serve up the rum every friday then we would probably still be on page 50 or so. It helps to have something to help you loosen up on the weekends, huh?Wink [;)]

Now the question is, who's gonna break the 100 page mark? I say he should cover the bar tab this weekend!Thumbs Up [tup]

Roger

Same here Roger!  When the time comes, let me know what you are looking for as far as decals.  I counted last month, and I have 1/48 markings for 66 Corsairs.  Yowza!!! Whistling [:-^]

Well i can tell ya right now, Frank. I'm looking to get some of those US marrkings that have the red strip around em. I know that those were ordered for the sake of a month or so in 1943 (i believe). But i just love the way they look on that dark sea blue. The decals that came with the kit were Boyington's "LullaBelle". But i haven't heard very much good of Academys decals, so i can't think of a better candidate in my stash than that. Kinda like bird in your avatar, that's what i've got in mind (at least i think it has those decals)

Warmest regards,

Roger
