Sorry Summit, didn't see your question until now. It is the same kit as the Airfix from what I've heard, as it is a rebox of the MPM kit. Now this special hobby kit came with alot of extras, like a resin cockpit tub, drop tanks, bombs and the like. Its still not an easy kit; the fit is off, there are no cannon ports, or anything in the intakes or exhausts (which basically you have to scratchbuild yourself.) Its got a lot of potential though, if you put the effort in.

Hmmmactually I think that 1/72 bugger was more work!  As it was at least they didn't chew it. Oh well the important part was it was repairable!  Everything is always repairable unless you melt it. Got it back on track none the worse for wear so I was lucky!

Still haven't found my wheels? How odd?

Hehehe... I know, what's up with that I wonder?  No stand yet, stabs already glued on, it's like someone else's build. Disapprove [V]  Sorry!  I'll have my R & D dept develop a high-tech stand for it ASAP.

Frank it looks just like a bare canvas awaiting to become your masterpiece!  Yeah the dogs had knocked the 1/72 Swordfish to the ground and did the old puppy fight roll over it about 12 or 23 times before I found it wings broken on the floor!  BAD DOGS! Grumpy [|(]Banged Head [banghead] So I took a little break and fixed it back up and re rigged it all. Again jeeze!  That is why the one forward aerialone flap slidy thingy on the front is still busted. Decided it was a message as Ritchie thought they extended a bit far anyways so a chance to fix that!  TAke the good with the bad!

No FRankinstand on the Zeke? I was appalled! LOL! Shock [:O]

Hey Aaron!  Saw you were working on your Tamiya Swordfish again, so I dug the Corsair outta the scrap bin!  She was all stripped down, and ready for painting V2.0.  I dunno, these EDSG/DSG/Sky schemes are tricky! Black Eye [B)]

Next up, masking the Sky bottom and starting the EDSG!  Thanks for looking. Big Smile [:D]

You will need to PM me your information that includes your mailing address, scale, era and genre of kit you would like.

Please PM when you sent the gift off and when you received the gift.

I know we all want to open them but please wait until Christmas Eve or Day.

Also keep you exchange to yourself until Christmas.

On Christmas we should all try and post pictures of what we received.

Capt Bondo tricked me again and told me there was a cheeseburger in the brig and when I went to get it, slammed the door and locked it behind me!  You would think I would learn by now. Confused [%-)] Everytime women folk get in the area I get locked up or sent on some secret mission to steal molasses from the locals!

Defected to the Italian side eh? I have been working once ahgain on my Tamiya Swordfish to finish them off . I have seen a number of the crew over at the 262 GB loitering about though!  Although somebody just posted some pretty girls at the RA GB as well!  Everytime I try to get close to them though I start hearing Godfather theme music and getting these offers I can't refuse. Mischief [:-,]Evil [}:)]Black Eye [B)]Dead [xx(] What exactly does it mean to get fitted for some concrete sneakers and going to visit that teamster boss?

Well nap time for dis pappie!

CAG they've all runnoft to the Italian side. I'd say demotions, not to mention floggings on the gratings are in order. Right quickly sir we need to enforce discipline as there's been a certain, er, defection. It may be time to incorporate a trick or two to get the rank and file back in line. Be thinkin on it.

Thanks Wyoroy... I'm kinda on the fence with the seafang right now.

 Daywalker wrote:
Good looking work there Neu!  I was wondering about that Seahawk, as I hadn't heard anything about it in quite a while.  Well done! Thumbs Up [tup]  Like the other one too, is that a Seafang?

Yeah its a Supermarine Seafang, 1/72 from CMR. I found a cool thing out while building it, which you might be interested in since you also built an FR 46 at one point; apparently the Seafang was slated to be the FAA's post war fighter replacement but they got the 46 instead, as well as the Sea Fury. It seems that Admiralty wanted to go to jets asap and didn't want a new fighter type, but they needed something in the interim so they decided to go with the Seafire upgrade rather than the all new seafang. Still I really like the design especially the laminar flow wings.

This Seafang model was one of their early resin kits so the fit was atrocious at places and I just had problems with it all over. What ticks me off more is my continuing problems with future and coating; I just can't get a thin future coat to stick without pebbling, while laying it on thick makes it look thick on the final model.
