No worries.Thumbs Up [tup]

Guys,

I just had to share this with you. My wife treated me to a print of a NAS 800 Seafire FR.47 for my birthday. Little did we know at the time that the painting depicts the same Mk.47 that I had built but it also has the signatures of six pilots who flew these Seafires with NAS 800 from HMS Triumph during the Korean war!

She also treated to a wondeful dinner and lots of little pressies........I thought that was great. Then the Royal Mail delivered this tonight..........

The brand-new 1/35 scale Dragon UH-1D!!!!! This kit is an awsome all-new tooling and it has six cartograph decal options, four crew figures plus pre-painted P/E detail parts as well. All in the same box! Whooooooooooo!!!!Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D]

This kit is superb!

By thunder, I am a very lucky man!! Wink [;)]

Looks like all in all, it had been a really good birthday for ya! I especially like the artwork, and i think it's gonna look great hanging in the ole' model room!

I've seen a few other prints from the same or similiar artists on ebay, and it blows me away the price of them. And granted, those are just the ones that are not autographed. There's one i would love to have of the "Belle" that was autographed by Robert Morgan and some of the other crewmembers. Maybe someday though...

Yep! Ya got a great Wife! I think maybe you should keep her!Wink [;)]

Warmest regards,

Roger

Good score Darren!  I got the print in my signature as an early B-day present from my girlfriend, and last night she gave me some cool new stuff for my place, a Hasegawa 1/48 Kate (her name is Katie or Kate), a wonderful dinner, and Censored [censored]Big Smile [:D]

We are lucky men.  Oh, and...

I'll take my truck down to the store and pick up the weekend rum rations.

Rick-ROTFLMAO!

This is RAF stuff, but still VERY cool.  Check it out!

I saw this last Sunday. The programme is an British institution called Top Gear. You should see what these guys did with a AH-64D Apache!!!  I live near the RAF Typhoon testing centre and boy can those things move!   F-22's watch out!Mischief [:-,]

If you can get Top Gear on BBC America, I recommend you watch it.Wink [;)]

A big thank-you for your well wished lads.Thumbs Up [tup]

A quick update on me:

went to the doctors office this morning as my missus spotted that the chicken pox have spread to my eye area. Doc said these's no cause to worry at the moment as the infection is outside of my eye socket-if that changes though I will have to go to hospital as my eyesight could be in danger.

Good news:I look really great for Halloween as I resemble something from a resident evil movie!Evil [}:)]

Picked my boy up from his halloween party at school and one of his teachers said she loved my zombie make up!!!!!Disapprove [V] Oh brother............................Banged Head [banghead]

Anyway, my lad won first prize and we watched a "scary movie" before his bedtime. So at least he's had a fun time. I got a little bit of weathering done to the B-25-thats about all I could manage. Still, every little helps and I will have that build finished soon.Thumbs Up [tup]

Now.........where's Frank with all that Rum?Pirate [oX)]Tongue [:P]

How odd is it that people look all over and pay lots of money to find that perfect scary costume, and yours just kinda came to ya?

Seriously though, i sure hope that it doesn't get any worse, especially around the eyes. Hope ya get well soon!

Roger

Been doin' fine, my friend! Finally getting some time in at the bench (currently working on an AFV Club German LeFH18M 10.8 cm field howitzer for another GB). Things are getting quite cool up here in the great white north (we've already had our first snowfall .... only 2" worth, but that's just a taste of what lies ahead).

Hope you and all yours are doing well, buddy!

.... and I got the PM from Roy and responded. Nice to have him around and posting again! Thumbs Up [tup]

Dave-What day is your birthday?  Just gotta make sure we have enough rum on board when the time comes.

Mike- Good to see you buddy!  Hopefully, the lads here didn't drink ALL the rum so you could have a toast with us. Make a Toast [#toast]
