Yep! I definately had those days! When i first came in as a Forward Observer, we kinda had a good thing going in that we had 2 groups to party with. We could go party with the Gun Bunnys, or we could go with the grunts. In the field, often times we were the "red headed stepchildren", but this was certainly one of the perks to it!

Well, that and an all expenses paid trip to BelgiumCool [8D]

I'm down with that, Roy! Was also stationed in Germany for a few years, so i got to see alot of Europe when i was there. But England is one place i haven't been. I say we make it a point to find that secret workshop out there! I'll betcha it's somewhere underneath London in a deserted old subway station, or some wayward cave in the cliffs of Dover....

...or maybe i've been watching way too many James Bond movies...Blush [:I]

I realize i'm probably committing heresy here, but I thought that Pierce Brosnan was an awesome James Bond! In some ways maybe even better than dear ole' Sean

Just a slight bit of an update for me here with the Monogram Dauntless. With the exception of the flaps, landing gear, propeller, and canopy, i've gotten it all assembled. Can't quite explain it, but i honestly swear the fit of the parts somehow changed after applying the glue to the wing halves.Banged Head [banghead] But, no matter. with a little extra glue, and a dozen clothespins holding the wings together, i think that should do the trick. Then it's on to filling seams. I'm gonna need alotta putty for this thing. I'll throw up some pictures once the clothespins come off, and show ya what i'm looking at.

Warmest regards,

Roger
