Hey, Jon!

Mr. UPS came and KIDNAPPED my Santa-ee's present yesterday, with an grin!  He muttered something about "Addressed to WHO?  WHERE? That ain't on my route....but I SUPPOSE, since it's Christmas.....besides it'll be fun to watch the recipient squirm wih curiousity!" and BAM - gone, just like that!!!!!

Unfortunately have been away for awhile, resulting in my modeling grinding to a standstill.. Not that I had been into it very long as you can see from my original introduction.  Will explain in the odds and ends shortly.  Upon starting to read I noticed this GB.  Would have been nice to get into it, but maybe next year.  Looks like a lot of fun.

Picked up the kit for my SS today.  I think I made a good choice.  How do I know?  I wanted to keep it   Off to the post office in the morning.

Is is Christmas yet?  A gift appeared in my mail box tonight from my Secret Santa.  Feeling kinda like a kid in a toy store right about now.  What's in the box?  What's in the box?  Too bad I don't have that Superman X-ray vision thing .....   Waiting till Christmas is gonna be hard but I can do it, I know I can ....

At this time I would like to express my heartful thanks and gratitude for the Special Invite from Jon to join at this late stage.  Yes, I am going though some tuff times, but I have the support of my wife .  We have decided to and brought our two daugthers up to date.  They are very supportive and I feel that it was a positive move to tell them.  I am staying positive that this will only be a minor set back.

Again thank you very much.  Looking forward to conversing with you.  I never realized how friendly and supportive people (especially people you don't even know but through this type of contact) can be until one gets a wake up call.
