Thanks for the kind words guys - I'm glad you liked Rudolf.  It was a blast to build.  I've gotta credit whoever came up up with the name for the group build (Jon ?).  I spent some time thinking "Rudolf's Revenge ? - What does Rudolf have to be vengeful about - the name calling thing ?  And what does that have to do with this build ?".

Then when I noticed some people seemed to be ready to cave in on the issue of waiting till Christmas (shame on them !) it hit me like a ton-o-bricks.  The idea just got stuck in my head and I figured it had to be done.  I had all the ingredients - the P-40 shark mouth in a Dark Earth / Tan Desert scheme, the ski's left over from a Gloster Gladiator the didn't get built in the Finnish scheme, and an idea for making antlers out of stretched sprue.  (Dark Earth is very close to SS33657 which is the winter scheme topside color for Reindeer)

One of the hardest parts was finding enuf different tail codes to make the 122507.  I'm still a little disappointed that I couldn't find ANY yellow sevens or zeros (!)  They had to be done in Black.  My explanation is that santa has to update them every year and he ran out of yellow paint.  That's my story - and you're stuck with it !

I'm not sure how much I'll be online in the next few days - so if I don't get back before the 25th     Merry Christmas to all !

Little chance of that!  Don't forget Azgaron and I live about 6-7 time zones ahead of most of you!  Maybe we should use Zulu time as a common reference so we can all open at the same time!Wink [;)]

That's a nice thought Jeff but I don't think my wife and kids would let me get away with opening a present early! Sigh [sigh]

Naughty, naughty.

I can imagine how you are being teased by the brightly wrapped gift and your Christmas tree.  I smell a conspiracy to torture u as much as they can.

The present calls you over to the tree, the tree pulls it out from behind, and just as you reach, the tree pulls it back at the last second.    Laugh [(-D]Laugh [(-D]

You notice that shiney red ornament? The one with the snow flake on it? The one that you or your wife don't remember ever having? Right next to the silver one with the green and white candy cane? It's the tree cam!! Don't touch it!! It's wired with 50,000 volts from a stun gun!!!! It will not deactivate until 12:00:01 on December 24th! Mischief [:-,]

How in the world does it go from, 'you opened a Christmas present early!' to 'you're having an affair!', in the course of one conversation? But, then I have spent time in Rock Springs, WY and there really ain't a whole lot that I saw that could tempt me into an affair! Not saying that there may not be some good looking women there just, in 1988, I sure didn't see 'em!!!

We all must be supportive of Drew, especially today.  He may get very confused.  A lot of people will be jumping up and down and screaming.... 2 DAYS!!!!  2 DAYS!!!!  It will be terrible if Drew thinks we are shouting TODAY!!!

I nearly fell into the trap myself TODAY.

I may just make it the 2 DAYS.  But I fear some of the parts have fused from the friction cuased by me picking up the box and shaking it just to make sure it's still inside.

Late breaking  direct from the North Pole Chronical.

. Santa is well ahead of schedule.  All presents, including special SSGB's are prepared and ready.  Santa and his reindeer are heading out on a test run.

Your star reporter (unnamed to protect the innocent) has heard that Drew is being tormented with only two days to go.  But rest my friend, Santa has informed me (top secret information - anonomous source), that Drew's house has a special STAR on Santa's GPS, no not big brother watching.  According to this high profile source, it is guaranteed, Drew's house will not be missed.  Drew's agony will be eased, only two more days.  Hang in there BigGuy.

I will be busy the next few days, so if I can't get back to everyone before the big day.

Just about 24 hours to go now folks. The hard part is I am off work tomorrow so the day will just drag on and on. I might just stay in bed also to make it pass faster.

I just thought I would share an early christmas present with you guys, I had been running my paasche millenium airbrush with a little cheapo blue testors compressor. Needless to say it wasnt the greatest, never quite sure how much pressure you were gonna get and no way to regulate it was interesting at best. Well, dad came through again and got me a new compressor through proxy, he put money in my account and told me he didnt want me saving it for bills, said he wanted me to get myself, tara and aidan gifts. So I found a nice one that still allows me to save money for bills(I just couldnt do it, I cant just spend a bunch knowing I have the same amount of bills due next month). So without further delay, here is my first decent airbrush compressor combo.................

Taaadaaaa.

P.S. Dont mind the mess, just my living room. Me and tara have gotten good at a lot of the being grown up stuff but we are still working on the cleaning up part. And I will go ahead and head everybody off at the pass by saying I know aidan will be crawling soon, we are going to get our act together shortly. I think its gonna be a new years resolution, along with my quitting smoking

It is only the intellect that keeps me sane; perhaps this makes me overvalue intellect against feeling
