I hear Vegas won't be the same.  One Casino went belly up, when the jackpot rang out at the one armed bandit you were at.  Party time your place.  HeHeHe.

Oops. I thought I had told Jon I received my package, 3 weeks ago or so, first one under the tree! Many many MANY apologies for not acknowledging receipt, I did not want to break any rules on my first Secret Santa! I also had a very nice note (OUTSIDE the box!), which I am not able to respond properly yet because I have to "keep secrecy" :) ... but just wanted to tell my SecretSanta that my wife and I said an extra prayer for the safe return of your son, currently serving overseas in the US Military.

Cheers! Jim

Oh Christmas Tree

What an exciting time.  My youngest daughter was over and we enjoyed PIZZA, then decorated the tree.  It is brimming with decorations, both store bought and sentimental handmade decorations when our children were young.  Yes we still have them. These handmade family decorations, to me, have more appeal and value than any store bought item.  Don't get me wrong the store bought are nice, but home made decorations, make the season.

Presents are starting to adorn the under the tree.  SS gift is on the way to the tree.  Oh, what I would give to tear into the wrapping as I hear mumbling inside, but it is still too soon.  I notice that I am going to have a terrible time getting near it now as it is protected and well guarded.

Don' dare tangle with the Saskatchewan army that seems to be blocking my approach and taunting me to just try.  Sad [:(]  Can I, Can I, just pick it up.    Looks like no way.

You didn't break any rules, Jim! I was just doing this because TLP was too lazy to. Wink [;)] He had made the remark that it would be nice to know who had already got theirs and since I don't do a darn thing all day I figured, hey why not me? So I did. No rules broken.

TLP? Don't even THINK of trying to bribe Pink with chili-cheese fries!!! Angry [:(!] Pink? Be strong! Chili-cheese fries aren't everything!!! Tongue [:P]

Can someone clue me in on how to make the GB badges animate? I'm really computer-stupid.

And I'm going to whip some of those ChChFs up this afternoon!

Randie- thanks for putting that list together.

I've sent out an email to all the folks that Randie's list indicates have NOT received their kit. I've also emailed all the folks who are their Santas to confirm the kit was sent.

I'm sorry for the nagging  intrusion, so please forgive me. Wink [;)]

Thanks so much for your cooperation, participation and enthusiasm!

And Merry Christmas! Only a few days now! Big Smile [:D]

Jon,

I just wanted to let everyone in the group know that I will be pretty much out of pocket until the 28th, and I probably won't be able to post my Secret Santa pics until I get back from San Diego, so to my S.S., please don't think I am slighting you or that I don't like my present!  I guarantee pics as soon as I return, if I can't get them up on Christmas!

A merry Christmas to all too!  Hope its filled with good times with close friends and family.  OH ya, and lots of good food, beverages and... model building. Big Smile [:D]

You know, some of you were hearing little tiny voices coming from your packages pleading you to open them but I don't hear any?  Either my Cats ate the little tiny guys, they are so buried under my kids gifts that they got crushed or I'm getting old and deaf.

One week and a bit to go!  Woohooo!

Consider yourself lucky!Big Smile [:D] My little guy just won't quit. I think yours must be buried under the kids gifts(you know how THOSE multiply so quickly.....he may have been overwhelmed!Big Smile [:D]). The other two theories have a few holes. If he's anything like my little guy, he could probably talk the cat out of eating him(must have been a salesman in a different place and time). And mine's got a pretty high voice, and don't they say the higher ranges of hearing are the first to go?Big Smile [:D] J/K

Many of you may be thinking that I really am hearing little voices and am a little loopy.....well, voices-negative, loopy-sorta negative.Big Smile [:D] I don't like to take life too serious....I guess I just never grew upPropeller [8-]!

Merry Christmas to all, and to all good modeling!

Merry Christmas........ to all.

A brightly wrapped package is lurking under the tree.  Silence is golden at the moment.

I am off for two weeks over the festive season, and hope to get some building in.  However, my other half has informed me that there may be travelling plans.

Lets hope for nice weather for travelling during the holiday season.  Once this is done and families have returned, the Mother nature can throw a fit is she wishes to.

Okay. Got some bad news. Now I have to suffer until Christmas! A short, little fat feller in a green suit with a red furry collar just knocked on my door and then took off! When I looked out the window, I figured it was one of them little practicle jokers again with the old 'burning paper sack on the porch' trick! I slung the door open and started to stomp (they think it's funny) and I saw a box from 'Secret Santa'!!! I ripped it open and? Dang!! They are wrapped in Christmas paper. My wife grabbed 'em outa my hands and chained my rottweiler to them! Using my own dog on me. Does that seem right? The dog likes her better than me anyway! Traitor!!! Angry [:(!]

So, anyway, for Jon to understand......I GOT MY SSGB PRESENT TODAY!!!! Seven more days, counting today!!! Well, i guess, eight. Technically. Party [party] Propeller [8-] Make a Toast [#toast]<----Kool-Aid, since I don't drink no more! Wink [;)]
