Hi everyone and Merry Christmas!!!!!

See what I have to put up with the last two years! Some how my SS (RadMax8) from last year got my name this year. I tell ya this is one wonderful guy, and not because of the great kits. It's what he put into it. He goes all out! Last year he sent with his gift a two page hand written letter and a cd with photos of him and his family! This year I got a four page hand written letter and when I opened my gift this morning there was another letter. My wife and I think the world of Max. He has a good head on his shoulders and is headed in the right direction. Max I'm really proud to call you my friend. This is the greatest part of this GB. Getting to know such good people.

Max you are really starting to scare me! Perfection again! I can't tell you how many times I see one of these on the forums and think how cool they are. I always make a note to look for one when I go to the LHS. Now not only do I have an Eduard P-39, I have two of them with a book that has all the history and colors! Max your the best buddy!

Thanks friend and God Bless you and everyone on this Forum..Hope you have as wonderful a day as I have.

BTW Jon I can't thank you enough for having this GB. Building models and friendships. Bless you buddy!

Merry Christmas everyone! Thanks so much to all for making this such a great GB!

Thanks so much to David Luter (HereticXIX) for this kit! It's a 1/48 Hasegawa Ar234B-2/N "Nachtigal". Now what is so cool about this is that I'd seen one of those and thought "that is one cool looking airplane- I need to build one of those one day." Big Smile [:D] Thanks so much David- this is PERFECT! It's one of those planes that just stands out and is so cool looking!

And I'd like to say "THANK YOU!" to James Glover (KINGTHAD) who sent me an unexpected surprise- 3 sets of Spitfire decals! (If you don't know- I love Spitfires!) Thanks!

Thanks so  much David! I love it! And thanks James for your wonderful surprise!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Well lady and gents, Merry Christmas.  Thanks to Brad (gzt) for this Eduard Avia B.534!  It's a sweet looking kit, no doubt!  You're a man after my own heart.  Here's the kit, along with my ugly mug.

And to prove I've been a good boy this year, here's two more my daughters got me for Christmas.  A Battle Axe Caudron C.714 and Hasegawa's Marseille Bf-109F trop.

Can't wait to get started on the GB.  May even start tonight if I can shed the relatives fast enough.  Cheers, and thanks again Brad!

I am too excited!!! I am really excited to see what I got but I am even more excited to see if %&*#**%# and Pink like what they got. I spent so much time in so many hobby shops and online to pick out the perfect kit for %&*#**#. And I wrapped Pinks gifts from her secret santa and I am jealous, that girl got hooked up!!! I think she will love them! At least I hope, she really hasent gotten any modeling done for about a year or so. Understandable due to the whole pregnancy thing but I am hoping this will get her going, especailly with everybody here and all the peer pres.......er support. If we work together we will see her first completed model in years and first every aircraft!!! Oh and I know %&*#**%# will make that kit prouder than I could ever do!!!!

I am just way too excited! this has been the best christmas ever and it hasent even happed yet. My mom gave me a digital camera(I think she was getting sick of me trudging into her house with half built kits asking to use hers). Little 1 year old brother gave me the simpsons movie(good taste). That angel I am lucky enough to call a wife got me a bluetooth headset. Oh and dad decided to deposit about $2000 in my account(Which allowed me to get myself a new  compressor) and said son I am proud of you this year. Tara is a good wife and mother, aidan is a good son and you are a good man and father, I dont want you to save it for bills I want you three to have a real christmas.

My whole family has been telling me for years that I am too old for christmas, turns out it was really cus I was a stinky drunk! We spent all year knowing we were not gonna have a christmas, only to have one appear 5 days before.

On top of everything else, even if I had none of the cool presants listed above I still have the greatest wife and son anybody could ask for. I tell ya folks, karma is real. 7 - 8 years spent in the dark, doing dark things, thinking dark thoughts and my holidays were horrible. Pull yourself out and make your loved ones your priority and things come back in spades. Just remember, If you are doing nice things hoping to get things back in spades then you are doing them for the wrong reason and i dont think it works that way.

I dont have many friends, I dont really need them. Have pretty much everything I need inside the walls of my home. But I have been here for about a year now and you guys are the best group of people I could ask for. Sometimes mentors, somtimes voices of reason, somtimes motivational speakers, sometimes AA coaches, Always my friends. Thank you all for blessing my life with all of your truly unique minds and hearts this year. I am honered to have spent time exploring everything from modeling to marrige to parenting and everything else this year with you guys.

A few more hours to go and lets get this train rolling and work together to produce the best looking set of gifts this website has ever seen!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!

GOD BLESS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES

*END CHRISTMAS RANT*

Well, It's after midnight here now - but I'm the only one still up.  If I opened up my present now my family will think that's really lame.  So G'night - But I don't think anyone will be waking ME up tomorrow AM.  Hmmmm... I could get up at about 3:30 am, start the pot of coffee and then blast some Christmas Carols on the stereo.  I'd have some kids down here ready to go in about 2 seconds.

I need to think about this - there might be reprecussions.

I gotta get to bed - I think I hear some prancing and pawing ...

It's almost here!Big Smile [:D] Just a little over 2 1/2 hours here!Thumbs Up [tup] ....and I will definately be awake at midnight!

Now, wether I'll get around to unwraping my SS gift, that's another story.Sad [:(] With all the other things I have to do to get the kids stuff ready(not to mention helping Santa put out the gifts, and helping him eat those delicious cookies!Big Smile [:D]Thumbs Up [tup]), I don't know if I'll have time.

Hopefully, I'll be able to get some pics up in the AM.

Merry Christmas all!!!

Less than 4 hours here in Katy Texas.  The wife and I will be up tonight at midnight, so I'll likely take a brief break from building the KidKraft kitchen Santa is bringing for my daughter to open the SS gift and take a picture.

Merry Christmas to all!

Man, this is really going to suck being in the last time zone to open my present. Sad [:(]

Life's not fair.  But just think, are you the last, or is there someone in Hawaii, sitting back, patiently and laughing at us who are being tortured.  I am calm, cool and collected.  Going to have so many people over this evening, should take my mind off of the muffled sounds. Boohoo [BH].  Fat chance.

Wow looks like Santa is well on his rounds.  The countdown is underway.  T minus 9 hrs. 14 minutes, 3 seconds until midnight here, but who is counting.  Laugh [(-D]. Not me, Boohoo [BH], yeah right.

I hear from a great source, that a laser beam dot has beem planted on DrewH's house.  Better clean the chimney, batten down the hatches.  Bet ya we will hear the loudest woo hoo (won't even need a megaphone) from him.  Drew get out of that tree, we see you hiding.  It won't work.
