My 7 year old daughter has recently taken an interest in "those tanks." She bought me Dragon's 9000 series Jadgtiger Late for Christmas, asked if I would build a tank for her, picked out the color scheme, then readily agreed to help me build her tank. THe color scheme is classified at present, but I promise to post pictures in all their glory.
This will be a quick OOB build, after going 12 rounds with the Aber on that Sherman. It is essentially homework, though, because right behind it is the DML Jagtiger Late 6050, fruil tracks (my first set), Aber detail set, Aber skirt/fenders, and an Al barrel. That one will be more conventionally painted.
Anyway, we were pretty busy this weekend, we removed 36 1/2 roadwheels from the sprues, cleaned a MILE of seams around the circumference, and got the suspension mounted. This should go pretty quickly, there appear to be about 50 pieces left, other than the indy tracks.
Sorry about the glare, I was short on time.
And the progress:
Thanks to WBill for his helpful JGT thread on his build log site.
More later, but I am really enjoying this build
