Yer havin a fa* is smoking  but having a shag is definately not dancing over here and so dont ask a young lady to dance like that  in England or your likely to get a thick ear or catch something, and it wont be a fish.

I am sure glad we speak the same language.  Having a *** means smoking a cigarette right?

I hope so!  Confused [%-)]

Sorry to take so long to reply. Beautiful job there Edmund. Those figures really set this tank off. The gear is effective without overwhelming the rear of the vehicle. Awesome job.

Thanks for the kind words Andy.  I used your Acrylic head tutorial and was quite happy with the results.

Thanks again for posting that and taking the time to respond to my questions on PM.

I have a long ways to go but at least I found the path!  Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Edmund im sorry i missed this post,  but may i say you certainly pulled it of , the sherman is faultless and the build and paintwork is first class , it looks very convincing and real. As for the figures   if i have contributed to these in any way then im priveliged. They look great and im not just being polite either, the only critasism i have is that i didnt build it.Bow [bow]

Thanks Marc that's a cool thing to say!

Yes I like the Ultracast and Resicast products very much.  I am just slappign paint on them but it's a lot easier to end up with an acceptable end result when you start with quality figures.

I also found that if you improve the injection plastic figures by using a sharp pin to outline all the details that really improves the end result as well.  Not an original ideal on my part just part of my self education.  On my Hetzer build the TC is Alpine and the crewman is an improved injection plastic body with an Alpine head and the difference between the two mediums is not that noticeable.

Cheers!

Every thing looks good. I'm building a Sherman, I just hope I can finish mine half as good as yours.

Well Kenny that is a good question and when I had the same question my Sherman expert and research indicated that it could turn and be in either position.  The Ultracast resin TC figure was molded to sit on the back of the turret so I positioned the MG mount in front.

Hope that helps!

Beautiful Sherman you got there. Figs are awesome too. I think you might have swayed me towards something OD in the near future. Stunning work all around.

Nice work all around on this one Edmund! The subtle approach to the weathering is just right IMHO and if you do put it on a base, you've still got flexibility to adjust/add instead of already having your hands tied at the outset. Congrats on completing #9! Thumbs Up [tup]

Hey Bill I knew you would like the restrained weathering approach!  You are my hero man!
