Nice work all around on this one Edmund! The subtle approach to the weathering is just right IMHO and if you do put it on a base, you've still got flexibility to adjust/add instead of already having your hands tied at the outset. Congrats on completing #9! Thumbs Up [tup]

Well thanks Adam that's very kind of you to say! I had some great advice from all the guys on the forums over the last year that I put into this build. I have not ruled out a detailed base or a Dio but I was just going crazy with the next build idea which I will unveil tomorrow in a detailed way.

Thanks again for your figure advice which is always welcome! Those were my 13, 14th and 15th figures respectively and I feel were my best so far.

Thanks Andrew and Adam for your last comments.

I finished final detailing today and my ideal was a light dusting rather than a mud bath so I kept it subtle.  I used Oils only for the dusting effects on the turret and hull but I did use Mig Pigment Europe Dust on tracks and bogies again as subtle as possible.  I love Mig pigments but it is very easy to make a vehicle look like it is covered in flour because I have done it! Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Seattle does have natural light days in the Fall but they are few and far between but we had one today so I took a few natural shots and also some in the light box.

Thanks again to everyone that has stopped by and also commented on this build it is appreciated.  You guys have really helped me become a better modeler this year and I will always be thankful for that.  This was my ninth build and took every bit of skill and techniques that I learned the hard way this year to accomplish the following:

PS sorry low bandwith guys for every WIP I do I like pics!!!  I tried to be selctive honest!

Here are Natural Light shots first:

Bob & Adam you guys are too funny!

Thanks Bill for the compliments on the figures.  After some thought I am not going to do a base at this time I am going to spend my last emotional energy on the final weathering and details and then set it aside for awhile so I can start my next project which is driving me nuts I have to get it out soon or my head will explode

OK,OK, do whatever does'nt make your head explode please !! But I like that wall, and incorperated into a nice base(even later) or better yet, a real Diorama, this thing could really kill !{ I am in it for the Dio's, so I gotta throw a vote that way while it's in the airBig Smile [:D] BTW...what the "next project" anyways?

OK, Edmund, an official check in after all your hard work.

Excellent work on the figures, you are in the zone. My advice, don't lose it--dig out EVERY figure in your stash and paint them while you are in the groove.

Well, maybe not, but you are certainly groovin'.

Nice job, really really nice job on those Brits.

My base design is going to be simple becasue I don't want to do a Dio just a base.  I have a Kancali stone wall section I picked up my last January that I plan to use. the wall section is 9.5 inches long so it should fit in a 8 by 10" picture frame.  The M4 will be on a rutted road that I will sculpt with Apoxy Sculpt.

Rounds Complete!!

Thanks Mike!  I used Vallejo Black Grey for a basecoat on the Beret and White Grey for Highlights. They are Ultracast figures and are as nice as Alpine Figures.  The TC was actually molded for the M4 hatch and it shows it is so natural looking.

Adam: Thanks for the extra set of eyes last night Adam.  I went over the Driver with a fine tooth comb last night and corrected some outlining issues and addded more highlights and shadows to both the face and the body.  I also finished the other body.  I will paint up another head and post the results later today.

Hello Gentleman,

Due my babysitting duties assigned to me by the wife I was unable to get both of the other crewman completed as planned today but I did finish the driver.  I was so excited I had to post some pics thanks for the patience and support as always.

I did manage to get the TC fig finished today and here is a few shots of him in place.  I will try to get the remaining two crew figures done tomorrow.

Thanks Rob that's the look I was going for.  The Resicast stowage was enough for two vehicles and I used about half of it so I am right on target!
