Thanks Rick! Andy's got me beat hands down on anything I'd enter. Yes indeed I'm planning to attend the Roscoe Turner show and hope to see you and Andy there.
John, I think that your ready to give that Deafpanzer guy a run for his money at Roscoe Turner. Hope you're planning to go. Rick.
Thanks guys! A Few more pics as requested:
I agree, that T-34 is stunning Jon.
Eric
Quality is always better than quantity!
Excellent builds ogrejohn!

Joseph Stalin:
Quantity is its own quality
The T-34/85 is weathered perfectly and deserves a few more photos.
Only 2 for me this year. Bad case of modelers block.

Yes, this year was pretty good for my armor builds, I finished up several older extended builds and also a few new builds.
First completed was my 1/35 Tamiya Kfz 251/1C
then my 1/35 Tamiya Centurion Mk.3
next completed was a "quick build" of the 1/35 Tamiya Renault UE Armored Carrier
then an Academy 1/35 M151A1C 1/4 ton with 106mm Recoilless Rifle built in a weekend
followed by completion of my long in progress ESCI 1/35 LAV C2
and a short while ago another "rapid" build, my final AFV for 2011, 1/35 Dragon Panzer Mk III H
better than last year
F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!
U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!
N is for NO SURVIVORS...

Good year for some!
Great models by all!
It seems so long ago, yet before my son was born in June I had a bit of time and space to model. Sometime before that I completed a project that became a quagmire of scratch building:
1/72 Italeri Hetzer 'Chwat' (Brave Person)
Vignette & tribute to the Warsaw Uprising resistance to follow...

I didn't do a lot of armor this year. Here's what I did do.
I like the finish there Josiah.
Andy, I forgot to mention that your figgies rock!
Wow everyone's builds look fantastic. Here's mine.

Mike- Thanks!!!
Rick- Will do!
Happy New Year everybody! Please keep the parade rolling...
Andy, They're all contenders, but I love the way that Chaffee sets. I agree, we got to get the Ogre back to Indy. Hey you other Hoosiers, give us a holler and join us at the Roscoe Turner contest/show in early March. It would be a nice event to put some faces with avatars. We had a great visit last year. Andy, we should start a thread when the show gets a little closer. Rick.
Andy - Love the figures....excellent work
Rounds Complete!!
"The Moral High Ground....A Great Place to Emplace Artillery."
Eric- Thanks! Had too much fun building that Marder.
Rick- Thanks! Which builds should I enter? Still thinking about it... like I said I model just for pleasure.
Maybe we can reach an agreement that you will enter your recent builds especially those Mustangs and Mosquito... they looked great! I will be in touch to make a plan for us to get together maybe for lunch? John of course can join us too.
I love that Marder Andy.
Let the hit parade continue.
Great stuff Andy. Roscoe Turner is waiting for you. That won't be too long now. Hope you're having a great Holiday Season. Rick
Ben - As you know I am not a Germaholic but what I can say is to echo the others, you have come a long way. You have learned the key ingredient..... patience. I am sure the Ontos you tried more than a year ago is now in your ability. It is always good to see someone here on the forums grow. You have done well.
Marc - Always love your peanut butter army!
The hit parade just keeps on rollin'. Thanks for the compliment on the Marder Ben. I am kinda partial to your Stug III B.
Marc
deafpanzer Dre: Hinsky- I haven't been 'round this Armor forum for a long while, but I am awed by your JSU-153 and the Pz.III N. If there was a "Most Improved Since Joining the FSM, Armor" award category, I'd certainly vote for you. Well done, sir. Very well done. Agree with Dre's comment regarding Ben's latest builds. Now he is taking his time to do fine details and all of that stuff... his latest builds are coming out great especially Pz III N which is my favorite.

Wow - cheers guys,
I'll admit that the JSU, the Pz III N (and the Pz I A) are my personal faves but like Andy said, now I'm spending a LOT more time on research and preparation my work has really improved - A LOT
This time tomorrow I'll hopefully have a completed whitewashed Hairspray Hetzer to show off.
Cheers again Dre and Andy!
Take care, Ben
