here she is,, final touches this am,, did the Confederate Battle flag,, printed off 2 images from the net, glued it to a peice of tin foil.. then drilled some holes, and tied it on.., finis..

Humm.. any guesses on the final missing item ??..

The turret tarp is some pants material with some foil folded inside to help maintain its shape, the helmet on the turret side has photo etch straps.. the fender tarp is tissue soaked in water and ELmers glue. the crate is a stock item from the spares box, I added the rope handles then tied it down with carpet thread.  A couple of left over track links were painted,, weathered and attached.

ok,, here are some more pics.. in no particular order.. since last update, I've added some tarps, a crate, and a helmet.. and some spare track links..

She's nearly done,, just one major item left to do.. any guesses ???

Lookin' good, P38!! So, all that is missing is the ghostly JEB Stuart!!  It's been fun following your build; quite the trip down memory lane....sure wish I knew what happened to my stash of G.I. Combat, SGT Rock, Weird War Tales, and Sergeant Fury and the Howling Commandos!!!!

added some "mudd/turf clumps to the hull and road wheels..

Awesome!  I like what you have done with Jeb.  Nice work painting the words on the turret too!

Did some more work,, weathering..test fitting the crew and turret,, next is the crew hatches, some gear/storage, tad more weathering... I also lettered the turret with the crews' nickname for the tank ..

did some practice lettering...

I posed JEB like he's talking to thier Ghostly Guardian...

Welll after a hiatus,,, I'm back at the bench..Been working on making the tracks look respectable, and some hull weathering.. added the tow cable..

I just saw a note that DC comic book artist, Joe Kubert, just passed away on Aug 11.  He did many Haunted Tank issues along w/Sgt Rock

That is sad news.

Rally looking forward to seeing it when it is all done.
