Lil more work last night... Got the tracks all on one side,, had to be innovative to get them to reconnect after the glue dried after the test fit.. Threaded some thread thru the holes in the tracks. then used bits of brass rod to twist the thread to pull the tracks together... Photobucket:550:0]

There is a perfect resin figure of standing American tanker holding a Tommy gun.  I can not remember who makes it but I can find out for you if you are interested.

thanks Andy,, your words hold lots of wieght in here.. Yes

I also have tow cables to add,, soon,,

right now, I have my bench filled with peices of figures, as I'm trying to figure out JEB, Rick, Slim, and Arch , and how the look for the crew.. 1 of my fig heads is looking up, and has his mouth open, kinda like talking to the air,, like JEB talking to the Ghostly General,,

We also had a fire call tonight, structure fire ( we saved the house).. so I lost about 3 hrs to the Fire gods...grrr...

ps.. I will be adding more weathering,, in the finer details.. such as edge wear, paint chips in the dents and dings,, etc,, so its the overall grit n grime i'm looking for some input...

its at one of those stages, where. is it enough ? or not..

thanks guys !

ok, question,, I'll be posting some pics in a few of the tank as she is now.. I did some weathering, and dull coated it,,, the turret is a differant green, then the hull,, which is expected since the turret is OD green on gray primer,, while the hull is OD green over Russian green with preshading.. so, its kinda cool looking to me.. So, looking for more input on weathering...

just some pastels ?

Dot Filtering ??

both ?

Leave it ??

I am going to add more to the tracks when I add them..

[u can see my homemade track tensioners,,, card stock, cut, then bent  in two, inserted between the treads and fenders,,, keeps them in form while the glue sets, and the ones inbetween create sag,,,Photobucket:550:0]

Hey P38J,

Just getting a chance to look at your progress on my laptop and not my phone....lookin' good; like all the different road wheels and battle damage!! Even as a kid, I wondered why JEB and his crew couldn't stay in the same tank for more than two issues!  Now as an adult, I wonder.....how the heck did a T-34 ever end up in an American can (cannibalization) point?? One of those great comic book mysteries.......

Keep up the great work; and thanks for the many pictures!

Ninja-Viking

Aren't the Hatches supposed to at "slanted" angles?

Not straight across?

I guess it's up to you......Big Smile

I read in the threads that you don't mind if a couple other "Haunted Tanks" hop in here as well?

Nope,, don't mind if someone has their own they want to share..  As for the hatches, I have all the issues from when they made it, to when she was blown up... The hatches as well as other features, change issue to issue depending on the artist.. so 'I'm modeling my favorite memories, and the ones that will work with build..

Ninja-Viking

Lookin real good, but can I offer a suggestion?

Perhaps if you mixed a couple Panther wheels in there.....

It was a "Junk-pile" tank......

and there are documented cases where the Russians put Panther wheels on T-34's.

Just a liitle suggestion.  Big Smile

Thanks for the suggestion, but the wheels are already on,,  I did mix up road wheels from differant T-34's.. if u look, there are 2 differant types of rubber coated wheels, 3 types of steal wheels, and the ilders and driven sprockets are not the same either side...

Thanks tho..
