It really is a shame that all that work on RR cars has diminished your armor skills so much....
YOU SIR, are BACK!!!!
Nicely done!

Holy cow! Done in few days what would take me months to complete. Beautiful work on the Tiger! I am planning to build it next after my current build and I hope it comes as good as yours!

Well, i didn't like to say anything. Thought it only fair to give him a chance to get back to his old standard.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

vonryan/TheWildChild/jgeratic: A sincere thanks to all of you. tigerman: Thank you for the comment on the weathering...it's what I love. No burn-out...just the opposite, I'm fired up to build more! wbill76:Thanks Bill, and yes, my fever is rising for Tigers...they are just one bad-*** looking tank! dupes: ...ouch!!! Hey, the only started but unfinished build I have is the Panther from Urban Armor...are you sure you're not confusing me for another SMJmodeler? disastermaster: Glad you like the finish...and thank you for the compliments. I appreciate you noticing the base too...I am very pleased with it for the exact reasons you mentioned. As far as the rope is concerned...I really dislike the Tamiya kit offered tow cables and track cables so I left them both off. Then I realized The port side looked too bare so I add the brackets. Finally when I was in the home stretch I found the rope in my accessories box and thought it looked cool draped on the side.

wing nut: Very kind words...thank you. I feel that same way when I see your detail work. "Not much point doing PE/scratching when guys like Marc are around" I would like to team up with you someday and buy two kits...you build/detail 'em, I paint and weather 'em! I've always thought that would be a good GB idea...
deafpanzer: Thanks man. Yes, I do weather pretty quickly. I get obsessed (ask my family) and plow ahead agressively!!! I think I finally have the process down pretty well too. I try not to overthink it too much... second guessing every little thing that doesn't look as expected isn't helpful...better to just wait and watch how it all comes together
browniii/ Bish: Thank you guys and touche! I love the RR work but it sure was nice to move from 1:87 to 1:35!
Steve, finally got a chance to go though the whole post beginning to end and I have to say excellent work there! Will be 'borrowing' a few techniques from you to try out in the future.

Hey Steve,
Looking great from Romania! You sure did a nice job and a nice toot here--hope you'll stick around some...
Gamera: Thank you and by all means "borrow", that's why we share!
Hey Karl!...Rockin' in Romania, huh!?! I'd call it a miny toot' but I hope it was helpful. I do plan to be around awhile but I'll need to bounce back and forth because the train gig' pays for the tank gig'!
