Thanks guys. Just watch the 1st Star Wars... or is the 4th??? It's the 1st one in the 2nd set that is supposed to be before the 1st 3. Anyway... Jar Jar gave me a tille for the figure as a stand alone.

Beautiful, both on the tank and the figure.
Rob
Thanks panzewrwaffe
Nice work on the figure! It would have been nicer if you can add a VERY LARGE white flag... LOL
Andy
You're going to have to label it' "Jar Jar's Revenge!" or something similar now Marc!

A white flag? Hmmm....
Meesa can't figure out how to make that work
Assembly of the guy he better listen to is done. Painting to commence momentrality.
I was only kidding about the white flag... nice American figure. Who makes that one? Looking forward to see how it comes out!
I recall seeing guy walking in out of the desert with white flags... on the TV of course... so I don't think you're far from a real possibility. The figure is form a Dragon set...
I suppose he could be holding a white cloth in his hand ..............seems like i seen that on the news back durring that war Marc. Looks like the figures will really add some emotions to your dio .
Cool Marc.... you should add a dark brown stain to the back of the prisoner's pants !
LOL i actually thought of a wet stain in front but figured the fsm censors might not like that
Hey Marc, thought I'd commented here but guess I didn't. Beautiful work, love the fading and the chipping on the explosive bricks on the skirts.
And the figure don't look half bad either

Gamera... A belated thank you I am sorry I didn't see your post so don't feel bad about having not commented when you thought you had.
I am finally putting this on to bed. I was gonna do more US guys but that Iraqi... he's not going anywhere.
Looks good Marc, nice to see this one get fully completed!
Nice work Marc !
Just like scenes we have all seen played out on TV in past years ! Your dio has simple but really topical subject matter. I really like it.
Great work on your figures !

It looks really good. The whole thing came out great. The figures look really nice. Good job on it.

Hey Marc
Your hard work and attention to detail really came through on this one. I like it alot. Brings back some.... interesting.... memories.
I do have one 'critique' and I'll admit at the start that it is a nitpick. I wish you had left at least one hatch open to imply that this guy bailed out of this tank. Total nitpick, but it was something that I thought of immediately when I saw the pics for the first time.

Thanks for all the comments guys. Gino... I was happy to read a comment from you and not have to go back top repaint something
Boyd... funny you should say that since it is exactly something I thought of when I glued those 3 guys down. The idea came to me after the tank was done and there isn't any detailing inside the turret. I thought this one would look good on a base. Adding the figures pushed it more toward being a dio as apposed to being just a base. In that respect you are right... would have made sense to have the open hatch.
The figures bring it to life nicely !!
Perfect story line. Well done. :)

Marc - Figs looking very nice. Is it a diorama....is it a vignette...who cares, looking great.

Anthony, RB, Mike... Thanks for the comments.
Vignette? I forgot about that one. So... Base? Vignette? Dio?
You're right Mike... whatever. I'll the judges figure it out
Great job Marc, I was following the comments about the uniforms and it's great to see a wonderful finished product.
