Ben323: Your skills are increasing exponentially...and I can practically hear the enthusiasm in your voice as I read your posts!...gotta love that!
I admire your willingness to tackle new skills. The zim', as mentioned, is too thick BUT the application is superb. You have the rare talent of "randomness". That is my term for the ability to apply a technique effectively in a fashion that goes beyond application in the logical locations (foot & hand hold abuse areas are an example of more easily identified logical locations) without OVERDOING it. When "randomness" is done well the whole build just seems 'right"...does that make sense?
The abuse and tweaked corners on the rear bin look great. Did you make those divots on the side of the upper hull? They are nice.
OK...all that being said...THIS BAD BOY NEEDS A BASE!!! I love how you've determined in your mind the scenario that led the vehicle to look the way it does but you need to guide the viewer along the same path. The debris work is great but the tank needs to rest on some of that same debris. You could set her on a modestly sized base (they have pre-cut wood ones at Michaels) then add/build a small corner of a wall that was clipped by the tank producing the rubble you've worked so hard to get right. Just my .
Wonderful work Ben, you've got me excited to see what you're going to try next!!!
