Very nice dusty look you achieved there. Definitely looks like its seen a lot of street fighting. Very nicely done.

Great job Ben - the rubble looks great, just like it's reversed through an entire house for shelter!

You can't beat a good bashed up, battered build imo!

Outstanding work.

Looks like it just rolled out from under a collapsed building.

Total realism!

Nicely worn look to the Elefant. Courageous effort on the zimmerit as well.

Hey guys,

Im glad you liked my Elefant! And thanks for all the awesome replies!

My next few projects will be a Shanghai Dragon Panther Ausf. G command version w/ Steel Wheels. Im doing a complete overhaul of this model. Going the whole 9 yards on this thing.

Then it'll be a OOB Jagdtiger from DML with zim. I plan to do a whitewash on this one.

After that I'll be working on a JgpzE100 from Trumpeter. Possibly getting fruils for this one

Then maybe, if I don't get a new cool model, I'll build a Jsu-122 from Shanghai Dragon. Im giving this one a complete overhaul too.

Oh boy I have a longggg list of models to make. I still have a DML Flak 38(t) Ausf.M Late Production and an Academy M36 Jackson on the bench too Tongue Tied

Anyway

Thanks guys!

Ben K.

Agree with all the others, very nice finish!  The weathering looks great!  Look forward to all your other builds.  Like Eric said...get busy.

I'll be watching how to deal with the issues of the JSU-122 because I also have this kit but have not started it yet.

Ben323:  Your skills are increasing exponentially...and I can practically hear the enthusiasm in your voice as I read your posts!...gotta love thatYes!

I admire your willingness to tackle new skills.  The zim', as mentioned, is too thick BUT the application is superb.  You have the rare talent of "randomness".  That is my term for the ability to apply a technique effectively in a fashion that goes beyond application in the logical locations (foot & hand hold abuse areas are an example of more easily identified logical locations)  without OVERDOING it.  When "randomness" is done well the whole build just seems 'right"...does that make sense?

The abuse and tweaked corners on the rear bin look great.  Did you make those divots on the side of the upper hull?  They are nice.

OK...all that being said...THIS BAD BOY NEEDS A BASE!!!  I love how you've determined in your mind the scenario that led the vehicle to look the way it does but you need to guide the viewer along the same path.  The debris work is great but the tank needs to rest on some of that same debris.  You could set her on a modestly sized base (they have pre-cut wood ones at Michaels) then add/build a small corner of a wall that was clipped by the tank producing the rubble you've worked so hard to get right.  Just my 2 cents.

Wonderful work Ben, you've got me excited to see what you're going to try next!!!
