Early 251's were painted the standard German interior white in the drivers compartment.......

This was only on the Ausf. A chassis, otherwise it should be dunkelgrau (dark grey) or dunkelgelb (dark yellow) depending on the time period you depict.

If you can, get some AM tracks for it. It's a decent kit, but those tracks are crappy and too taught.

Off to a good start Garzon! As for the water tank thing, that's down to the fact that the version Tamiya used as the foundation model at the time was an ambulance variant with the cask present...so they included it in theirs as well.

Yes, that's the one. It shouldn't be there, unless you plan on doing an Ambulance version. I don't know why Tamiya out it in that kit.

Early 251's were painted the standard German interior white in the drivers compartment while the rest was the same as the exterior. I am not sure at what point the drivers compartment was painted the same as the rest.

Not sure how far you have got on the outside, but if you haven't fitted that drum on the mount in stage 1, leave it out.

OK, so here we go.

This looks like a very easy model, I will focus more on weathering, rusting and maybe do the "cook off" look...

So far just opened the box and got my tools...

See ya...
