Yes, indeed. That's some auction. Would be nice if the kit makers would buy some of them so they could base new molds on them and have the details more accurate. But, I'll be happy to take a couple for myself...if only!
!WOAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm off to the bank!

That's some cool stuff,I'm getting the Abrams turret
Yep...I have seen this...one thing I am attached to is the M548 carrier. The description talks about the it last unit was 7/9 FA which was one of my old units. Looks like by the markings it belonged to C battery. All I would need is some 8 inch rounds for the cargo area!
Rounds Complete!!

^^^ The Abrams training turret is reasonably priced (estimate)
It would be interesting to see the selling price of each item, for the money expected I am sure serious buyers are there in person to see the motors run (if applicable)
Who knows a low-ball bid might buy something cool, guess I best buy a lottery ticket and if the planets line up place a bid or two!
Alright!!!!!!!!!!! After checking this out, we all need to pool our resources and buy SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!
Well, I do need a new car- I guess I could bid on one of those Stuarts instead...

Man, if I just could find 150K to spend. A Flak 36 "88" in the front yard would do wonders for my neighbor relations with the non-english speaking bunch. Much more effective than "INS".
Nothing ever fits……..and when it does, its the wrong scale.
To make mistakes is human. To blame it on someone else shows management potential.
No reserve on any of it......
Maybe I could put in a $100 bid on the M50.
Apprentice rivet counter.
This would GREAT for my work commute!

The winning bid is just the beginning.
By the time you add taxes, any import or export fees plus postage, shipping and handling (not to mention any maintenance required) - the price could easily approach twice the winning bid..... especially if you wanted the machine to be fully operational and you apply/acquire and pay all the ATF licensing and permit charges associated with any modifications.
Oh yeah, did I mention all that ammunition
I dunno, being a millionaire wouldn't quite be enough in my opinion (maybe the low-end stuff).
So unless you just wanted a huge paperweight, you'd need to be a billionaire to provide a place to run it, shelter it, provide site to site transportation, fuel and hired help for maintenance for even one of the really more desirable war machines.
Bidding on several of them now.....lol

You ain't kidding.I wouldn't mind having a halftrack or BTR 152.
Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden owns a T34. Lucky dude. I'm totally in awe..!
So, the name on the turret has to be -
"IRON MAIDEN" ........ right?
They are auctioning off the Littlefield collection? Oh that is just so wrong. Like doing the same to any other Museum's collection... Smithsonian, Aberdeen, Benning, etc.
