A Tour of My Home - Unlike Anywhere in the World

Bragging is one of the most negative attitudes a human being can possess, imo.  Calling his collection and home like "unlike anywhere in the World" is nothing short of bigotry.  If you want to thank him be my guest, I will not feed that kind of egos. And yes I have seen bigger collections build by the owner....that is something to really be proud of.  Im out of this thread.

What's he bragging for? He don't have enough kits in his stash! You do have quite an impressive collection. Thanks for sharing it with us.

What he is bragging about anyway?  Ive seen much more impressive collections elsewhere.

Tojo72 - Thanks for your kind comments and inquisition. In short, I'm a modeler turned collector because I want the best of both worlds for my collection - quantity and quality. I built everything myself from the beginning - from warplanes to armors to warships; the biggest piece I built was Yamato 1:350,

until about 15 years ago that I began contracted out modeling services and stopped building by myself due to said reason. Still my build accounts for 15-20% of my collection, but they're mostly at back rows on high shelves and low shelves, not much seen. Right now I have 6 talented, award-winning modelers working on clearing my stash. I still buy a little bit, lately a third "Terminator" but this time from Zvezda.

Yup, all bought works, nothing built by him.  He comes on to show them off and is looking for everyone to tell him how great they are and how awesome his house is, etc.....   He is nothing more than a collector with a large amount of mediocre models that were not built by him.  Don't encourage him.

What? Now thats a downer....

Tojo and Mopar, no, he does not build any of them...he gives the work to modelers to do it.

Pretty awesome,I have seen a lot of the builds that you post here and it is some nice stuff.Do you build yourself or collect others work for your enjoyment,I'm not clear from your many postings.

But whoever builds them,they are really impressive.
