All good things to know. I was particularly inpressed with the wear and tear you simulated around the gun breech and the exaust pipes. They look really realistic. As for the guid horns, thanks for the tip. Not sure if I have the time/ patience for drilling out each one, but we'll see

Thankd guys.

Jason here are my thoughts:

1.) Fit is OK except for the indy tracks which need to be sanded a little to fit each other properly.
2.) Injection marks inside the hull plates and on the indies. You need to sand them off.
3.) Instructions are confusing. Study the parts carefully before putting them on.
4.) Decals are horribly thick. You may need excessive softener. If you can find a replacement do so.
5.) Overall details - very good as for me. If you want you can also drill out holes on the guide horn of each indy tracks for accuracy. (I didn't-he-he-he).

Great build. I just picked up the Nashorn. How is the kit?

Dragon 1/35 Hornisse - Progress Pics
Posted by Dwight Ta-ala on Friday, November 26, 2004 6:02 PM
Here are some progress pics of Dragon Hornisse that I am currently working on. I am in the process of weathering the upper hull as well as adding the rest of the accessories and details.

Note: The decals on this kit are horribly thick and stiff. I have to hand paint the numbers and trim the cross and the mark on the front fender. I think lots of work will be required to make them unnoticeable later.

More progress pics to come. Smile [:)]
