Hey, Robert,
Didn't we go to different high schools together?

Nice to see members meeting indeed! I just love the idea! Nice to put a face on the name. By the way, I must have the same barber too!

It's great to hear (and see) that some of the members finally got to meet tank to tank er, face to face. You two may start a trend.
If anyone ever turns up in the Joplin, MO area, let me know. First beer's on me.

Handy picture too lads.. Now we get a perfect reference for our scratch built 1:35 Shermanfreaks... Going to be a tricky job to match the colour of the jacket, though..

It's kind of neat to put a face with the name. Approve [^] That must have been a hoot for you guys. They (FSM) should make an area for photos of the members or find a way to include them in the member profile. Wouldn't it be cool to have a members convention of sorts? Cool [8D]

Rut Roh! [:0] From an intelligence point of view, this isn't good. Somewhat similar to Patton and Montgomery meeting in the field. I think a couple of us from the Axis should meet and possibly discuss strategy. You know, J-Hulk could be our far east ally! Evil [}:)]

Cool, I think more of us should get together like that, so if anyone is headed to New Jersey give me a shout I'll meet you for lunch or something.

It is so great when you get a chance to meet one of the members face to face.

This afternoon I had the pleasure of meeting wipw (Bill) while he was on a business trip to Edmonton from his home in Utah.
After finding out that I was a mere 1 1/2 hours from there we quickly arranged for a couple of hours of "treadhead" talk. We managed to squeeze in a quick visit to C.F.B. Edmonton and looked at some of the vehicles that they have on display there.

While at the base, I quickly corraled a poor unsuspecting desk clerk to take a picture of Bill and I standing, where else, in front of one of their Shermans.
So here ladies and gentlemen are shermanfreak and wipw.

I'm the one on the left.

Besides both being treadheads, we found that we have other things in common too like never having met a restaurant we didn't like and apparently we have the same barber. Tongue [:P]Tongue [:P]
