I've got the same problem as Robert with the pics. Poniatowski. Sorry.

Tigerman,

Thanks for the reply.

Yep, I live in Layton, which is just south of Hill AFB. About 15 miles from Roy. I lived in Roy for about 2 years (10 years ago), not too long after I retired from the Air Force. Yes, the Hill museum has a LOT of neat, ol' planes. Too bad they don't have any armor!! LOL. But they have what I thought was the only existing SR-71B. I've been told that in actuallality, it's the only SR-71C that ever was.

Maybe we can get together for a minute sometime when you're down visiting.

Poniatowski - sorry, can't see a thing but the red-X, anyone else have this problem.

Erock - thanks for the new pic .... this one will be a lot easier to "work" with.
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

Hi Bill, thanks for asking. I live in Vancouver Washington, which is right across the Columbia River, from Portland Oregon. I was born and lived all but two years in Portland. It was a little emotional moving here, but it's been good. Basically, we moved to build a home and take advantage of the better school system. I will always be an Oregonian in heart.

My brother-in-law lives in Roy Utah. He is based at Hill AFB. Neat place, has some nice vintage aircraft. Beautiful area. Live near there?

Thanks Eric and Chris. Have you guys hooked up? That's pretty close. Unfortunately, I'm clear across the country. Build was hoping you guys might send a picture of you two. Evil [}:)] LOL

Both you guys must be near some of the Civil War battlefields, that would be an incredible experience to visit some of them, hopefully someday.

I've been missing all of these great pictures! I posted the one of my wife and me on the 'Face to Face' post, but that one seems to be getting burried, so I'll post it again here (mainly because I'm surprised I know how to do this without ten tech helpers holding my hand!)
Like I said, me and my wife Sue at Fort Knox a couple of years ago. I was driving that year, she was bow gunner. Anyhoo, she was qualifed on the M60 series and WWII half tracks at this time and the next year she left the safety of her seat to drive an M3 half track in the reenactment (traitor!)Wink [;)] Hope y'all enjoy seeing that old men can still have fun with tanks! Gives you younger folks hope, eh?

Hi, Roy!Smile [:)]

"Impressive" doesn't even begin to describe how wonderful this lady is. But it certainly is one of the adjectives I'd use!

How'd I get to Japan?
That's a long story.
It all started with Ultraman in San Francisco, in the late Sixties...

Hey J-Hulk,

Great picture! My congratulations; your future Missus is very impressive. I've always wondered how a Southern boy like yourself from Brunswick, GA got to Japan. I've spent some time in Brunswick myself and it's quite a different world from Japan. So I'm assuming you speak fluent Japanese? I've always been fascinated by Japanese society and culture.

So I'm gonna jump, in too! And just so you won't be too disappointed with my hideous visage, I'll post a pic of myself with the lovely future Mrs. Hulk! Blush [:I]

Here we go:
