I would say almost definitely in Kursk.

There is a Tiger I scheme from the Das Reich at Kursk that I've been wanting to try for a long time.  When you're ready to get a roster going, put me down for a 1/35 Tamiya Tiger I in "Das Reich" markings.

My Dragon Brummbar won't work, it's a Late version w/steel wheels. I'm going with the KV. Might have to get some transfers and Migs for this one.

Don't forget halftracks and arty.

well i'll deffinatly be in eric. not sure what i'll do as i don't have a "stash" like you other lucky modelers here. i'll have to ask momma for some extra spending money this month. count me in, but i won't buy a kit until later on next week.

All three should qualify. Depends which Marder III you have. The Russian 76mm? yeah, you need a Panther D and a Panzer IV G or less.

If anyone has a good reference of vehicles, by all means please share. Katyusha (Stalin Organ) would be another great Russian vehicle. Italeri makes one.

I have a great book that documents the battle of Kursk in pictures.  I'll flip through it tonight Bob and see if I can find any pics of T-34/76's with a bit of whitewash left on them.

Eric, it's the Sd.Kfz138 7.62cm Pak36(r) auf Gw.38(t), (whatever THAT means!) I was getting dizzy just typing it! LOL!

Should I???   Ahhh why not?!?!  The Battle of Kursk has always been a favorite WWII interest of mine!  If you decide to go ahead with this GB put me down for a Dragon Panther D.  Echelon has a set of decals that includes Kursk markings.  I might do Ernst Barkmann's vehicle, but someone is doing the same thing for the Panzer Aces GB.   Eric, is the duration of this GB going to be long or short?

You mean the Sd.Kfz. 139 ?    The only marder III equipped with the Russian 7.62cm PaK36(r).

It was produced from April to October 1942.     Majority fought in Russia.  

I believe all Marder III's qualifies.    Marder III H produced from November 1942 to April 1943, and Marder III M between April 1943 to May 1944.   Kursk was in July 1943.

Not sure if they were all present, but the production dates fit.

Ooooops. Yep, that's the one. Thanks!  That'll be my contribution (although I would have LOVED to do a Panzer IV H! since I got all the goodies for that one....the Marder III will be pretty much OOB except for the appropriate markings).

According to my Squadron PZ IV book, it says that the H appeared in the spring of 43. So, I'd assume that they had to have had some there.

Ernest, I'm thinking a 3-4 month window, so as to keep the interest going.
