A little white would be nice. Skiing, something I haven't done in years! I used to do a bit of cross country out by Johnson's Park, gotta get out there again.

Hey Ron,

Got a few. 13thc. harness & helm, 14thc. harness & helm full rig, archers armor and helm and a foot soldiers harness, and 15thc. harness & helm. Made 2 of my own and bought and/or traded a couple of rigs. Too many guys out there doing some fantastic work. If you ever need some help or info e-mail me and I can send you some contact info. Currently working on a 13thc. saddle and horse tack. Casting my own hardware and making the saddle from the tree up. Like I don't have enough to do...

Wow, were have I been. This is the first time I read this thread and I'm impressed.

Mike I love the tiger stripes. After reading your post about the mistake on the instructions got me thinking about doing mine. And wouldn't you know it I was thinking about doing it in Tiger stripe, only mine was going to be the camo style used in Viet Nam
Trevor Where am I going and why am I in this handbasket?

Okay, I give, Ron. Why would women like Kelly's Heros?? I like the movie. Anyway, she won't be home. She has to be at work by 6:45. Why don't y'all come over for a building paty!!

Bill

Everybody knows women find tankers and especially tanks to be very sexy.. lol. I don't know, my wife laughs at Oddball's dog imitations and his drinking wine, eating cheese, and catching a few rays.Big Smile [:D] Am I going to have to watch that tonight? hmmm.

I'd love to do a building party... we used to do those all the time when I was a kid! I'm up here in the great white north (Wisconsin)... but unfortunately will be at drill on your birthday. Live fire ex. with the Paladin. I guess I'll be having at least a little fun!Tongue [:P]

Okay, I give, Ron. Why would women like Kelly's Heros?? I like the movie, especially Donald Southerland's character (Oddball, isn't it??), but I can't, for the life of me, visualize it as a chick-flick! Maybe they get all jumped up over Telly Savalis's part?? lol Anyway, she won't be home. She has to be at work by 6:45. Why don't y'all come over for a building paty!!

Okay,
As long as you have a handle on it, I 'spose I'll let you both have a nice time. Sounds like Saturday night is 'Put in Kelly's Heroes and work on a model' night! ... or is it the sister who's working...? Guess it doesn't matter, women love watching Kelly's Heroes, so if your wife's home put the movie in! Of course, don't expect any more 'attention' from your wife for a few days.

LOL

Ron, the funny thing is, that hobby shop is less than a mile from her youngest sisters house. But she is in school (Masters), working 40+ per week (Police dispatcher), and doing her field internship (20 hrs per week) so she doesn't even have time to see her. But thanks for the idea! We're going out earlier in the afternoon because she has to work Saturday night!

Thank you for the Maus wishes, too. But the 31st is a payday weekend, and it's not too far a drive for me!! lol

My wishes are with you to gain a picture maker of your own. I'd really like to see some of your work. I am excited for you.

Happy Birthday, again;

Thank you, Frosty. Very nice of you.

And Happy Birthday to you, fellow scorpio! My birthday is the 25th (few years difference, though.)

Thank you for the Maus wishes, too. I doubt that will happen because it's just too hard to find that kit around. (I know where one is, but it's a further drive than my wife would have time to make at the moment.) But the 31st is a payday weekend, and it's not too far a drive for me!! lol

Jimmy Buffet???

Frosty, perspective might work... I had not thought of that! I had been contemplating scratchbuilding instead... The Jaguar thingy is rather angular. And the Gepard should not be big trouble, when I get a scale drawing. But I'll start first with the existing stuff. Some might not 'work out' well: the Puma's coat is rather bland, and so can be the Lynx's (The European Lynx is slightly more colorful though). Let's see how the Leopard works out first. I've started the Revell 1A5, and it's a very nice little kit. When I say 'little', I was actually surprised to see it's almost as big as the King Tiger...

Oh Oh, Robert's smelled the buffet!

Frosty, I haven't started the E yet. I keep looking (drooling) longingly at it, but I want to finish the mid tiger first, and I'd like to get a little further with my elefant. But who knows. Brian keeps getting me fired up over it!
My son's school isn't really doing anything with Japanese. They just had a homework assignment where they had to write down some numbers using Japanese numbers. I thought it was pretty cool. I wish they would teach the kids a few words in Kangi (sp?) just to give them an idea of how it works. I think it would be facinating.
