Thanks Krank, 7th ID and 31 Reg is known without a doubt. What I have doubts about is this sheild

Being this Coat of Arms

What looks like an "A" on top of the crest is the Polar Bear of the 31st IMHO, but I just can't make the rest of the COA look like whats in that sheild.

And this is the last part i need to do to call this complete.

You know it almost looks like the same shield but in the shape of like what the old SAC emblem was in. Instead of the sides being streight up and down maybe a little bulge at the bottom.

Any speculation as to what's under the shield?

Whatcha think Krank, look familiar? Started diggin in his stash of 35mm slides and found this. Now I just have to crank up the ol' crayolas and stay in the lines.

Well here's the nearly finished product, I'm going to rework that shield one last time. As you can tell the decal didn't turn out so hot. I need to research what printer is best suited for printing on decal paper. Looks cartoonish if I say so myself. But getting the right effect on the backboard, and post washing of the decal will give it the weathered beaten look we would like to see.
