Tigerman,

Can you sign me up?  This looks like fun, and its already produced some lively discussion.  I've got several "hunters" in the stash, I just need to decide what I'm going to build.  I've got in 1/35 Tamiya's Hetzer and Marders III H and R; and Dragon's Marder II and Su-100 (old version in 1/35 and new 1/72 kit).   I do have a Sturmovik in the stash, but since this is the armor forum, I think I'll just stick with a gravitationally challenged subject.

Crikey Manny, you aren't supposed to make me feel inadequate about my A/C builds over here in the armor forum...that's what the A/C Forum is for. Cut it out! Laugh [(-D]

That 110 is pretty spectacular, btw. Bow [bow]

Tigerman, I have a Jagdpanzer IV A-0 that I'd like to do for this GB in place of the IV/70(A), but I already started it...or sort of. I cut out the 2 exhaust halves and used them as refs to scratchbuild a brass version...so techincally I haven't started constuction of the kit yet. Would it be okay to build this? I can even substitute another Panzer IV rear panel sprue if unbroken plastic is a must.

I just found the kit today in a pile, which is why I didn't ask about it to begin with.

Looks like this will be nearly as popular as Kursk...Yeah!! [yeah]

Sure Hermes. It appears the Jagdpanzer is the most popular so far, and this will be a nice variant.

That's exactly what I meant. You know, the funny part is I knew it was a 129, but I clicked on the image properties to confirm, and it has 110 in the id line. Figured you knew better than me, so I didn't even question it...despite the fact I have one staring me in the face on the top half of the stash.

Wow, what a lame excuse. Yuck [yuck]

boy am i glad gmail bundles up emails with the same topic.  i got 70+ emails on this thread alone in just two days.  at this rate we can get to at least 13 to 15 pages before the build even starts!

Eric I am gonna try for an Academy M36 out of box to fill up the void there.  A 1/48 Tamiya late version jagdpanther's tracks and wheels are being trimmed these days as well (AT WORK!).  I think that might get done before the jackson.  I won't be assembling anything until the GB starts.  Still have several other 1/48 kits to play with.  =P

Sorry to have stirred up an ant hill with my last post about the PaK 40 VS the Firefly. My intention was NOT to ban the Firefly out right. (Lack of sleep and too much coffee Dead [xx(]) I have  a JagdPanther that is barely started, or the Sd.Kfz. 251/22 still in the box, and maybee a JagdTiger in the stash. I rember seeing one though it seems to have gone AWOL LOL.

 Best Regards,

That explains why the secondary market has taken off. Supply and demand. LOL

I'm cringing at the thought of all those road wheels that need trimming, sanding and painting.  Yuck [yuck]

Hi all. I'm off to the Coast for a few days, so this thread might quiet down some. LOL

In case anyone heard about it on the news, my city was hit by an EF1 Tornado yesterday. Did some damage, but nobody was hurt. Occured about 4 miles from my house and ran from Lake Vancouver east for about 2 miles. My mother-in-law lives only 1/2 mile from it's course.

Vancouver/Portland is known for rain, not Tornados. Back in 1972, we had another. Killed 6 people. Deadliest on the West Coast to this day.

Less than a month ago we had hurricane winds at our Coast. What's up with this? Somebody get Al Gore on the line. LOL

Take care.

Global warming? Of course it's warming. We're still coming out of the last ice age. The glaciers will come back, but not in our lifetimes. SoapBox [soapbox]

I found a 1:76 Fujimi PzJg 1! I'm going to include that one for sure.
